I don't think Hasanni will get his own subforum, especially if his remains are found and these arrests go through. I didn't get any reply on the subforum, which I take to mean "no, now bugger off."

I think we'll get a subforum since there's now going to be a trial, with evidence coming out and so forth.
Generally, we don't get an answer of any kind; just one day a sub forum appears.

 Protect -R- Babys! I saw your post reply to mine....you got a good eye to catch what posts I was talking about!!! :winko:

Think about the video that was released on the 20th where LR was talking to a reporter & mentioned that he knows now that LE was tracking his internet usage... he mentioned that is how LE knew he looked up polygraphs & told the reporter that JC was worried if it could cause her problems due to her being pregnant...yada yada yada. After that day no log in's here...signed up on the 13th! Was logging in everyday not posting(except the 2 posts), but was here, cause I was keeping an eye out for an appearance....I knew after that there would be no logging in & low & behold nope not again.

:star: :star: for you too!

AWC I think that 'two post poster' had a friend.

Shutterfly Yep...I remember that one too! :winko: Around the same time posting & day correctoe Columbo!!!! I noticed that one too, but it was the remark made, that drew me to the one especially.

I do think it won't be long & we'll have some answers or hints from LE of some evidence that they do have very soon.....no it won't be like the sunshine state....."darn" bummer we get spoiled when a case in Florida don't we? We have already seen that LE is keeping as many things sealed as they can. Think about the Sandra Cantu case we will find out some info, but not like a case where they have the sunshine law.

I'm disappointed that JC didn't break today & tell LE where our little guy is...:furious:
As far as JC is concerened, what little hope I had for her to tell the truth, is gone now, after her being questioned the last 2 days...she belongs right where she is at :behindbars: I was hoping she had a place in her heart that really loved Hasanni...I guess not, cause if she did she would have told where he was! :shakehead:

Just IMO, but LE had to have had grounds for arrest. LE would have taken what they had to the DA or SA (whichever it is called in Ca.). We all know that Louis is the type of individual that would sue for false arrest if he were arrested without evidence. I just do not think that LE, the DA, or the judge would take that chance.

Jennifer already has a bail set and accessory is not a preset bail. At least here in Louisiana it is not. Misdemeanors are a standard preset bail. There are different degrees of accessory. Jennifer has been charged with accessory after the fact. $15,000.00 is not a high bond for accessory after the fact. I think what Jennifer did is cover for Louis. I honestly believe that Jennifer talked. I believe that the search of the home the night of the arrests was because Jennifer told them of something in the house.

We will have to wait and see, but I find it very improbable that both would have been arrested with no evidence.

I have been following this case everyday and have seen all that has been uncovered on this snake Louis. You all are amazing! And, AngelWhoCares, you are amazing. Not just in this forum, but all over WS!

*****Jennifer does not need to be entrusted with another innocent baby. She covered for 'her man' and was just going to let the world think someone abducted Hasanni. She did this once so she is fully capable of doing it again! I hope she gets quite a lot of prison time out of this.

Whya I'm going to leave that one up to you and others more experienced than myself here. I'm happy either way. I have trouble sometimes figuring out which thread to put what in, you know? I've kinda got a one track mind. But, as far as following protocol and my understanding of it, we do seem to be throwing a lot into this thread now that wouldn't be classified as 'arrest chatter.' If you want to open it I'll be perfectly content using both as needed.

Good morning!

What Shutterfly said is exactly how I feel! I'm adaptable, if nothing else! :curtsey:

Please work your magic w/threads in any way that you deem best and {{{{{thank you so much}}}}} for doing so!!!!:bow::bow:

{{{{{{Praying that *This is the day Hasanni comes home!!! }}}}}}

SORRY
I was just Guessing..LOL no one said they really ever seen the kids. Even JC's boss had no idea they were there.

I also wanted to say if JC didn't say anything then she would have been charged with murder too ..Right? So she must have spilled some BEANS:boohoo:

I'm hoping she's managed to spill at *least a few......enough to keep a certain someone in custody next week!!! ;)

I'd be really curious to know what prompted the volunteers to head for Monterey to search. Hmmmmmmm.

........wondering if at least one of those volunteers didn't take a peek at our board (with the mention of the tickets) as well?????

Ya have to admit it.....we *do make for some good reading and we have one heck of a team of peeps :sleuth: determined to find and protect the innocent!

Is the marina in the tix in Monterey? I want to make sure I'm not confusing it with Marina,CA. If it is Monterey, I'm assuming it means they were in the actual marina. What would a couple of non-boat owners have to do in the marina?

Good point. At first I thought the tix must have been given along the marina area in Monterey, but maybe they were given in Marina, CA which doesn't appear to be far from Monterey.

I don't know how to read the ticket --the way they state the Case type traffic : "Marina" is really confusing. But that makes me think it must have been in Monterey, in the Marina area--but considering Monterey is all along the water, I wonder how that area is defined? I haven't been there for probably 30 years or more, but I think there might be more than a boat dock...possibly shops, etc, that would attract a lot of people.

That's what struck me, tho...he HASN'T said WHEN the ROUTINE started...NO one remembers them being there, obviously not a 'routine' cuz he changes the 'routine'...different time...not calling on the cell phone to have her open back door...taking the kids seperately...not a routine in my book...but that makes sense if LITTLE MAN disappeared late nite the 6th or during the weekend...they would want it to look 'routine' to cover their sorry behinds:behind::behind:[[/quote]

When Ross was questioned about the routine, which supposedly had been in place for several months, he said Hasanni was used to getting out of the car and going to wait at the back door because they had done it "a couple of times" -- it's so hard to figure out if he slipped when he said this, or he was downplaying the number of times it had actually been done. I don't think it was a routine at all, and LR was all over the map trying to cover his behind.

Hi there WhyaDuck...always love it when you are the one to begin a new thread and thanks for offering. Guess I'm not sure how the arrest of Lewis and Jennifer can be separated from the search for the little guy. A murder charge seems to change the way the search goes. I'm a little confused.

It is confusing, I'm not sure what is the best way to do this.

OK, I have unlocked the general discussion thread to give it a try, though I would really like to hear the opinions of the long-timers to see if this is the best way to go; it just seems to me that some things are not part of the arrest discussion, and would thus defeat the purpose of having an arrest thread (which is to have arrest info/discussion easily accessible). You dig?

Leave discussion of the arrests here!

Anyway, I have re-opened the general discussion thread. If this is not correct or bothers people, let me know.

It's there if you want it.

CA-Oakland - 5 year old - Hasanni Campbell - Missing Since 8/10/09 - THREAD #4 - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community

(ETA: I hope that was the right thing to do... :couch: )

I feel bad that I can't help you out with this decision....I don't have a clue!!

I really hope they either get something out of these interviews or have more than they have disclosed so far, so these charges stick.

I have trouble believing that the police would EVER make a statement like that to the media, about separating them and sweating them out! I wonder if a journalist got creative ? I mean, it sure is what I was thinking they were doing but wouldn't it be very irresponsible for LE to say that?

It was a 'police source' who stated that according to the article. I would be shocked if LE really said that. It would be very irresponsible, IMO.

Nine times out of ten, these 'sources' are not right, IMO.

For those of you worried about posting information you'd already posted or that may have been posted by someone else -- my advice is don't worry about it.

Not everyone reads the whole thread and may have missed it the first time, not everyone who is reading now has read Threads 1-4, and sometimes, something that was already posted makes more sense now or now can be connected to the case because we know more about LR.

Everyone is doing such a wonderful job for Hasanni. Thank you all!

I don't know why bail is even set unless they are for sure going to be imprisoned.

Right to bail
Under current law, a defendant has an absolute right to bail if the custody time limits have expired and otherwise ordinarily a right to bail unless there is sufficient reason not to grant it[5],

Any person accused of committing a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Therefore a person charged with a crime, should not be denied freedom unless there is a good reason.

The main reasons for refusing bail are that the defendant is accused of an imprisonable offence and there are substantial grounds for believing that the defendant would:
  1. abscond, or
  2. commit further offences whilst on bail, or
  3. interfere with witnesses. [5]
More at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bail .

The red text is my emphasis. We do not want it said that any of their rights were violated and they get off on a technicality.

Do you have me confused with someone else?

Forensic Fan It took me till this morning to staighten the confusion up.....When I read your post I thought my memory was truly failing me! :banghead: When I posted "Where is Forensic Fan to thank him & Mrs FF" & that he would want to know the news of the arrest of LR & JC........I didn't realize that we had two posters with their screen names so much alike....My post was referring to ForensicsFan!!!!!  If I shorten either one of your screen names again, I will use F. F. for you & F'sF for ForensicsFan!

Boy, I really thought I was losing my mind when I read your post! I knew it was F'sF who posted the pictures that his wife took at the vigils & was a local who lives near where Hasanni went missing. ;)

I'm sorry for any confusion this may have caused anyone! :blushing:

*:crossfingers: That we have a news release or news conference that LE has the evidence to keep the charges against LR & JC stick. I honestly don't think they would arrest both of them just to try to get one of them to spill everything they know. If anyone will or should have, IMO it would have been JC.......it's really bugging me that if she didn't how cold hearted she must be. :furious:

Waiting....Wondering.....Worried....Where is Hasanni???? :shakehead:

FYI....according to the booking report, LR has been transferred to the same facility JC is in.

Are you sure? She's in a women's prison--Santa Rita. Unless they put men in there, too. Maybe the baby is coming prematurely -- would they let LR be present for the birth??
