Case Media:

Todorov, Kerena "Help sought in identifying body in Rollins Lake," The Union, October 22, 2002.

"The man may have been in the water as long as a 1 1/2 weeks because the body was badly decomposed."

"He had a few gray hairs and well-kept teeth with three crowns."

"The man was carrying a key to a KIA automobile...Three campgrounds near the lake have been searched, but no car has been found."

Mattson, Doug "ID of body found in lake still a mystery," The Union, November 1, 2002.

"[Law enforcement] thought the body might have been a Mexican man in the United States illegally after talking with a business owner who had possibly employed him...the employer said the man had a map of Rollins lake and had planned to go there."

"Dental records didn't match the Mexican man."

"One of the man's molars and a section of his thigh bone will be used to map his DNA, which will then be compared to a database."

"Homicide isn't suspected, partly because the body had no defensive wounds."

"The body was found floating face down near Orchard Springs Campground."

Mattson, Doug "Body found in lake may soon be identified," The Union, November 27, 2002, pg 2.

Mattson, Doug "Identity of body found in lake is still a mystery," The Union, December 19, 2002, pg 3.

"Detectives were hopeful they had matched a man's dental records [to doe]. All but one of the teeth- a cavity in one set of the records, a cap in the other appeared to match. It turned out they didn't."

"An autopsy didn't conclude if the man had alcohol or drugs in this system...a small amount of alcohol was detected, but organisms often create alcohol during decomposition."

Mattson, Doug "ID of body may depend on artist," The Union, January 16, 2003, pg 1.

The KIA key is the best lead they have?
Its doable ,because it can be done . Buts it is a lot of work. It can be done . But ..agh!
Like not as horrible as matching tool marks with/to hair clippers but almost.
