I think that even if it was only planned by one of them that their wouldn’t have been a note because she still wanted to basically be a martyr for their causes and was so wrapped up in that the idea of their past (and current) issues coming out wasn’t even a consideration.

I guess it's Sarah, if they say so, but to me, it doesn't look like heart all. In fact, the cashier is the one who looks like Sarah.....particularly, her nose. JMO OOPS! They say it is Jen.........................I am forever confused. Just ignore!!!

I saw a comment from 2014 on a blog post that said the same thing. Someone in Alexandria said they thought the children were being “paraded around” and exploited. Not everyone held the same opinion that the Hart parents were so wonderful.

I didn't realize how close Fort Bragg is to where they went off the cliff. Also, there are several state parks and a state forest adjacent to their route. Do we know if authorities are searching in there or just the coast? They could've been camping somewhere in there. Lots of RV parks/campsites.

Holy moly. I’ve battled an eating disorder a long time and the ribs showing on these kids are indicative of very low BMI. Very probably protein deficient malnutrition.

I haven't seen the photos to which you refer, but an earlier post on here (maybe in the first thread?) was pointed out for a boy in orange pants with thin arms. I looked closer and in the same picture Markis' lower arms and wrists were fatless enough for an anatomy lesson, and Sierra's arms didn't look much better.

More than 70 search and rescue personnel are looking for three missing children of a Woodland, Washington family. Five members of the family died in a car crash off a cliff last week in northern California....The search area will focus from Noyo Harbor to MacKerricher State Park based upon ocean current and drift pattern analysis conducted by the U.S. Coast Guard. A further search will be conducted focusing south of the crash site. The search operation will include aircraft and land crews from numerous agencies.

Coast Guard boats are on standby if needed.

I hope today's intense pre-storm search includes nearby campsites as well as the ocean. Don't mean to be graphic but if those kids are in the ocean, the coming storm can't make things any worse for them, but if they happen (unlikely though it may be) to be hunkered down at a campsite nearby, it most certainly will...

I can’t imagine living the vast majority of your life with at least one parent with such a a martyr complex and controlling personality. My youngest kids are allowed to have/earn their own money and spend it on whatever they want. Our 14 year old spends her money on Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A and clothes from the goodwill. We’ve spent a lot of time camping, fishing, gardening and hunting but I don’t think I’d trust any but our almost 18 year old to take care of himself outside of a home with resources nearby.
