Thanks AWC !!! :blowkiss:I am embarassed that I missed that article; sure can get confusing if ya miss a few hours on this site.

That's why the tweekinss of WS users is rivaled only by that of air traffic controllers.

Okay, how 'bout a timeline.....let's play around with that...

4:18 PM ~ Hassani is reported missing

4:00-4:10 PM ~ JWR arrives at Shuz

3:00-3:30 PM ~ JWR leaves Roxie Terrace headed for Shuz

2:00-3:00 PM ~ JWR showers etc. Surely he showered AFTER salvage
_______________________________________________

salvage- 1 hr & 15 min total (note: report today indicates salvage was "in the morning' so assume it was before 12PM) distance from Roxie to salvage is 20+ minutes

time to get kids ready to go to salvage....30 min

_______________________________________________
9:30 AM ~ JC clocks in at work (based on 8 hr shift w/30 min lunch)
8:30 AM ~ JC leaves for work if she takes BART to AND from work.

We're missing about 3 hours total and it looks like to me "it" would have to be between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM. He went back to Hayward on his way to Shuz...If he got to shuz at 4:10, he was 10 minutes late, so he 'dopped and ran' somewhere close to the route between Roxie and Shuz. I'd guess he went back to Hayward out of instinct. That was the last place he'd been. Otherwise, at the very least, I'm guessing he 'put' that child within ten minutes drive of his route between Roxie and Shuz...

Tada!

ETA...and all the locations they're searching are within ten minutes of his route...I think
ETA2...and of course you have to allow him at least an hour to have come up with that 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 story. (who said that?)

BBM -- :highfive:

IIRC, LR said he arrived about 4:15, which would mean they searched and searched for all of, mmmm, 3 minutes (approx of course). LR stated as soon as they realized Hassani was gone, he called 911. I'm not gettin on them for calling 911 right away BUT you'd think they would've looked in neighboring stores and called his name, etc. Just sayin . . . .

Also, did not realize LR was at the salvage yard in the am - I assumed it was on his way to the shoe store. Soooo, that leaves a fairly large window of time. Maybe Hassani's crying was the last straw . . . possibly hit him too hard, or with an object . . . detour to shoreline . . .

Ugh -- any new news today?

Anyone else wondering where JC & LR were over the weekend of the 8th & 9th? Also, is their house near other houses---neighbors seeing the kids getting in or out of cars--sorry if I missed comments about this. Where did their cellphones ping over that weekend? Did they go on a roadtrip somewhere? Maybe that explains the search areas.
I thought one of the articles said there was a family get together of sorts on the 5th or 6th--where was it and who was there?

I also wonder if LE has asked LR why Hassani was crying in the car at the junkyard? (if he was really in the car) Wish there would be a press conference or something!!! My frustration meter is going up!
As for Hassani crying in the car at the junk yard, if he was in the car ~ I could guess there would be many reasons: he's too hot, too tired, hungry, had to use the bathroom, and on and on. MOO

Yes - it's good they called 911 quickly, but 3 minutes seems really tight. For me, it would take me that long just to debate whether we should call so quickly. I think it is likely they have messed up the times here a bit or something.

I found Ross's choice of words in this interview interesting.

No sightings
After he reported Hasanni missing, Ross said, police seemed to blame the family first. Authorities removed Hasanni's 1-year-old sister and put her in another foster home, he said.

"We were very upset," he said. "We were dealing with a loss of a child, and the other child was taken from us.

"All of a sudden it was like we were thrown against the wall," Ross said. "We had to prove we were not responsible - but our son is out there missing. We cannot be part of the search."

HOLD UP.....

JWR said that 'typically' JC kept the kids at the store for an hour and that her store closes at 6 pm. That would mean he "usually" drops them off at 5pm. He said he had an earlier appointment and I would swear he said he had to leave an hour early( but that he was running late). Well if he left an hour earlier then he got there exactly when he was supposed to. One hour earlier?!? He wasn't running late at all.
Where did the arrival at the store around 4pm come from? One of the first articles I read said it was around 5pm.

"Louis Ross, the child's foster father, said he left the boy, Hassani Campbell, outside his newer-model BMW in the back parking lot of Shuz, a shoe store in the 6000 block of College Avenue, about 4:15 p.m. He was there to drop the boy's 1-year-old sister off with his fiance, Jennifer Campbell, the boy's aunt and foster mother, police said. Campbell manages the store."

Columbo Here is the article that says Hassani's bio-dad name is Ronald M .Hughes!

Missing boy's foster dad pleads for his return
Wednesday, August 12, 2009
<snipped>
Campbell became Hasanni's legal guardian after her sister, 25-year-old Shemika Campbell of San Francisco, could not take care of him, relatives said.

Clark said Shemika Campbell is "just devastated" by the boy's disappearance.

Court records show that San Francisco officials sued Shemika Campbell and Hasanni's father, Ronald Hughes, starting in 2005, claiming they were unable to support Hasanni.
The actions, one against Hughes and the other against Campbell, were apparently resolved last year with a default judgment entered on behalf of the city. They could not be reached for comment.

Article:

& for those who missed it this is what elepher50(Thanks elpher50!:blowkiss: P.S. I made sure that our astrolgers got your info on him too!) found in court records on Hassani's bio-dad:

I think Hassani looks a lot like his bio-dad......they have the same eyes. IMO

Thank you AWC... I went to the first article you reference here. Did anyone else happen to read the comments section? On page six I found this comment left by someone who taught Hasanni at McLaren Child Development center. According to this Hasanni has a brother--I wonder where his brother is now?
I hope it isn't illegal to copy and paste the comment, here it is:

I worked with Hassani last summer (July 2008) at the John McLaren child development center in SF. You don't remember every child, but Hassani was particularly delightful. Sunny, playful and very pleasant. He was in a SpEd class for children entering kindergarten the following Fall. Another child in the class was referred to as his brother, as they lived in the same foster home together and rode the same bus. Hassani was very, very wonderful to work with. He was very happy. I'm sure other teachers at McLaren that summer remember him too. His cerebral palsy must have worsened, as he was fine on the playground and needed only some assistance. His legs were stiff. The "brother" was more intellectually and physically able, but less cooperative than Hassani. You remember the good ones, when you work with children. I feel for the social case workers, who might have lost him when he went to the east bay. Hassani was a happy, beautiful boy. Likely he attended SF school last Fall.

I'm thinking this is the type of braces Hassani was wearing. But I think his may hace been a little shorter, say just above the ankle.

So now I'm really confused! Even though the store isn't right next to the alley where the car was parked, the back door goes into this alley?

panthera, you must have missed a previous post where someone used an aerial picture of the alley and corner, and drew an arrow from the alley to the front of the store. The front of the store is on College, but the back door opens into the alley on Harwood St, around the corner. Hard to picture without a picture, I'll see if I can find the post.

Thanks ~ I went back to one of the original links I'd looked at and it too now said 4pm. I had heard early on though there were two different times one was 5pm and another of 7pm. Also I thought the toddler was about 18-19 months old? I just wish these reporters would be more consistent. MOO

I thought it was quick to call 911,too.

Perhaps people with special needs kids are a bit over-protective or quicker to call for help. Or maybe it's a product of trying to not get in trouble with the foster care system and wanting to be on the ball about everything, just in case.

Or, perhaps, the timing is enormously screwed up, or they are lying about something (such as knowing there was no need to search that street)... hard to tell.

Seems to me it would take more than three minutes to search the local stores and look up and down the street. Did the dad keep looking after 911 was called? I wouldn't call 911 and just stop looking, as one never knows how long it will take to get LE there, and those crucial first minutes are far too precious.

Personally, I would have sent the pregnant mom in to call 911, and then gone and searched myself - or asked the co-worker to do so while we both searched. This is especially important with a very young child who might actually hide from cops. There's a better chance the parents would find him, IMO.

Yes - it's hard to keep up with what is media error, LE dodging and/or parent memory lapse...

I know panthera, doesn't that seem like a really long trek? Either way, through the building or down the sidewalks...it's a long way! Way too far to have left Hassani alone.

Oh I get it now. Sorry! :blowkiss: I'd been looking at that little photo of the alley which also shows fronts of businesses on the same street and thought the store was one of those. Now that I see it's even further away it makes no sense that he'd leave Hassani alone in the alley and carry a toddler all the way around the corner to the front door. MOO

Everyday that passes I find myself hoping and praying that this little boy does not end up just another of the worlds lost children. Where is he?

Isn't it the door in the archway?

Yes - that is a long way out of earshot. I'd have trouble leaving a 9 year old that far away on a city street, let alone a 5 year old!
