I wonder if this link would help at all? According to this, a navigation system (is that GPS?) would be optional for a 2002 BMW.

Reporter said that sword was confiscated as weapon. LR described as decorative Japanese sword. About 2 feet long from his hand width IMO.

Said LE did not need search warrant because he had offered for them to take whatever they needed. (LE agreed they have been forthcoming.)

Jennifer denies that there was domestic violence. Doesn't know where they got that.

LR left the children at the house (ran to bank) on August 10. The children were napping (he says). He said he volunteered that information to police. He had voiced misgivings about raising a handicapped child. LR and JC say it was LR who convinced JC to bring the kids into their home. He had been raised in a similar situation ...

LR says he failed polygraph. Said they told him he was 99 percent deceptive (which according to LR meant he did not pass control questions either).

Controls: Are you 38? Do you live in Fremont? Is your name Louis Ross?
Poly Qs: Do you know where Hasanni is? Can you take us to him?

LR continues to deny having anything to do with Hasanni's disappearance.


ETA: Discussion on polygraphs and that they are computerized make it very difficult to beat.

I am constantly amazed by this man(not in a good way). If I watched THIS video and it was the only one I'd seen ( and I hadn't been raised by sociopaths), I would believe with all of my heart that he was telling the truth. Mind boggling. That should serve as an example of how adept he is at manipulatiing those around him. In this video he appears so human, sweet, kind, charismatic and eager to please. All the while making excuses as to why things don't add up.
Somebody just get that dude drunk already..and then ask him...geez!!

He strikes me as the kind of person who would want extras on his car, but it depends on how he was doing financially. And I don't know whether he bought the car new or used. Someone else could have made the decision on whether to get a navigation system ...

That is why I added that it was according to LR he had failed the controls.

Unless he was lying about any of those things (age, where he lived, name) I don't think he could have failed the control questions.

IF the above is true, then he must have reacted more to relevant questions than to the controls?

From this, I don't think they ever say you were deceptive on the control questions just that you reacted more/less in comparison with relevant questions.

Good grief--something important must be happening. The earlier presser with the Oakland cop sure didn't hint at any developments--but he may have been perfecting his "poker face" so as not to tip off LR.
