This is so strange...he says "HER" baby? Maybe he isn't the father? Does he just stick around so he has a place to live? If left to his own devices he would probably be homeless.
I think you are right. I bet he hates Hasanni because having CP is a weakness, in his eyes, and he can't stand that. That is why he sounded so militant about how much Hasanni had improved while under their "care" (ugh, what care?).
All this coming from someone who was going into the health-care field??? Lord, help us if he is ever in patient care! MOO

Seems obvious to me that Ross just hates Hasanni, simply can't stand the child. Resents the illness along with the time it takes to care for a CP child. In the press conference, he even referred to his fiance's baby as HER baby. There has to be a reason Ross is with this family....what can it be?

Because he is intellectually superior to them and therefore he had no difficulty controlling and manipulating the lot of them maybe? What did PC say about Ross? We can tell she's completely in the dark. I don't think he hated Hasanni at all. I think he felt absolutely nothing for the child except for the ability Hasanni had to better his own image. He was clearly demonstrating control over Jenn with that text message, and he was also using Hasanni as leverage in an attempt to get her to do something.
He told this girl that he was going to leave a disabled five year old on a transit platform! He was punishing HER for something. I think he is evil personified. Hasanni wasn't the target, he was just the tool Ross used to target Jenn.
I'd almost be willing to bet that the baby Jenn carries doesn't belong to Ross or at least that he has reason (in his twisted mind) to think that's the case.

That's exactly what I was thinking...he would be like one of those Dr. Death guys who medicates people to death.
Speaking of meds, I've wondered if he wanted this job because of the availability of pharmaceuticals?

Good points!
I'm not sure what PC thought about Ross, but Hasanni's godmother expressed doubts about LR's story right from the beginning. She said something wasn't right about his story (I'm paraphrasing).

PC was spouting praises of Ross. He was a good father, had a good job (wtf).... a good provider and such nonsense as that. I don't remember the exact words she used but I almost fell off my chair when she said it.

It sounds like he had her fooled! Maybe he showed her his resume and it impressed her. LOL. Never mind there is no actual job!

I suppose that's a possibility ~ he just doesn't seem to be "patient oriented" so it seems an unusual career choice, especially since he was in computer technology before. MOO

I don't know - he seems the type to not mind billing sick people into bankruptcy.

I guess it doesn't really matter, but I wonder what the part about "it's your responsibility to hey him" means? What did "hey" mean...??

LR is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde!

He is text messaging, I think the word he wanted is get, g and h are on the same button, accidentally get the h, add the e, and the software offers up the word hey.

Very interesting but maybe it's just for the nightly news to follow up on the articles we've read today? :waitasec: (I'd love to think something like an arrest was up though!!!)

An arrest would just make my day.

nope, he didn't disclose the quote. He may mention it later in his next article. I think he works for the Fremont Argus.

Way too much media attention all of a sudden IMO....something is going on. I think that maybe this is the beginning of 'the end.' He's a liar and everyone knows it. The great Ross has been exposed. I hope and pray to God that there are no weapons in that apartment. I don't see this guy confessing and there's no WAY he's going to get out of there with all the media focus all of a sudden. I think this powder keg is about to explode.
