Court documents released!

Download Court Documents (.pdf)
http://llnw.static.cbslocal.com/station/kpix/docs/2009/campbell_warrant.pdf

The affadavit also said police believed foul play might have been involved.

The court papers showed the relationship between Ross and his fiancee was violent at times and that police had reports that Ross threatened her with a sword.

Thanks so much for this link elepher. I counted 6 media trucks. The vultures circling the dying animal, just waiting for the right time to swoop down & peck his eyes out. (is that to graphic for this site?)

When they come for him, we must give him a new name to match his new persona. How does "the prisoner" sound. Apt & fitting the new circumstances.

Can't help but think LE are releasing info at this time to keep putting the squeeze on Ross - you're so right...the control freak is like a caged animal who is losing control.

I think there has been few, if any, tips because there simply aren't any. Ross operates in a sociopathic, secretive mannor, making most of what he does a covert operation. Little by little LE are chipping away at his story, and that's where they will get him. Also, stress the guy enough and he will blow. mho

WTH, the foster father states in an interview at 6:10 pm that LE took the sword in the search of the house. Also today, LE make a comment that they have been unable to locate the sword.............Do lies just roll off of the tongue of this foster Father like a hot knife through butter, or what? He failed the LDT and the lies just keep on coming...............

I was going to call him the 'confinement engineer'...think that will pad his resume well enough?

That is too funny! When a Scottish poilceman testified at Pinochets' trial he wouldn't accord him the privilege of calling him by name. "I walked into the room and informed the prisoner he was under arrest." (If & when he gets to the big house, he'll probably be given a new name by his new buddies.)

I just knew a lot would be going on today since I had to be away from the pc for 8 hrs!

LR obviously did not care one whit about these kids. Therefore, JC, by association, did not care enough about them. She knew, if she didn't know, she suspected, and if she didn't suspect, she's been under a rock.

I know, I know, battered womens syndrome, psychological abuse, blah de blah. Leave anyway.

What is pulling at my heart right now is that I know, deep down, I feel that Hassani was probably subjected to some of the some of the worst verbal and psychological abuse, never mind what he might have endured physically. You can't feel the way that LR feels about Hassani (as evidenced by the text) and not treat them horribly. This poor little boy knew that his father didn't want him, his mother couldn't keep him, and his uncle didn't want him. I wonder if he ever even had a real hug in his life, or just the showy ones done in front of social workers.
The above is entirely MOO.

Hassani, whatever the outcome, wherever you are, may you at last be loved and at peace.

Well said, NMK! I guarantee that txt msg wasn't the only time LR acted this way. It's horrifying to think of how Hasanni probably had to live. He would've been better off staying in foster care! LR is a horrible, horrible man. Leaving those children unattended so much and saying those awful things . . . not to mention keeping a SWORD under his mattress when he has two young kids in the home?!?! WTF!

I'm thinking if JC didn't know what happened, subconciously I'm sure she did and is probably feeling so guilty right now knowing he was capable of this. WHY do these mothers keep subjecting their innocent little children to these monsters?!?

"Confinement engineer" !! I love it..he'll have plenty of time to work on that resume, too.

It's crazy how he seems to dismiss the sword as "only this big"! WTH, man - a sword is a sword, and if it wasn't a dulled showpiece, then it's pretty damn deadly - even at "only that big."

People killed or maimed by switch blades can tell you size really doesn't matter on that one...

He'll probably claim he was a selected candidate in Biodome V.

I just watched another reporter, from KTVU, in Ross's house. He was perched on the sofa in front of what looked like a big ole Sony laptop........

add that to the fact that if you google, our forum is all over the first page of results

just sayin'

If he comes here he'll surely get an earful And it won't be pretty.

Okay legal eagles, help me out.....

LR's negligence led to the child's death (an accident due to negligence), with cover up?
Manslaughter? 15 years?

LR inflicted the injury that killed the child( intentional act), with cover up?
1st degree? Life/death?

I think they could cast even a negligent homicide in the worse light of habitual negligence, combined with the text message, etc - perhaps he was planning on leaving them alone until something bad happened...

I was confused by the search warrant.
They were looking for any indicia in the name of Louis Ross.

I had to look up indicia. I'm sure some WS geniuses know what it means, but for the rest of us.......WS word of the day..

Main Entry: in·di·cia
Pronunciation: \in-ˈdi-sh(ē-)ə\
Function: noun plural
Etymology: Latin, plural of indicium sign, from indicare
Date: circa 1626
1 : distinctive marks : indications
2 : postal markings often imprinted on mail or on labels to be affixed to mail

Could this mean they have doubts about his identity or could he be using other names ?

That's what I'm thinking. Scary isn't it?

ETA...I just had another thought. Maybe, for whatever reason, they're not believing he lived there?

If you were to watch this with your speakers off, he appears to be talking about a good book or a vacation that he was just on, he doesn't seem to be having a conversation about his missing child.

Did anyone else notice how beaten down the girlfriend looked? She sat there the whole time with her head down.

Yeah - that was rough. It must have been a difficult PR choice on LR's part - have his wife not "by his side" or have her sitting there like that.

I kept wondering, "can she talk?"

The pillow over the belly was poignant - trying to protect this one, at least, maybe?

Where was he when he was "ending the relationship" ten days before Hasanni went missing? A girlfriend's? A pal's? With family? Did he just stay there and challenge her to get out with the kids?

It is 11.7 miles/17 minutes from the Car Parts place to home - so where can Hasanni be along this route?

I'm looking at my Google Earth map right now. What are your thoughts? I think LE was in a good spot at the shoreline on W Wintner. There's a lot of open space and bodies of water along the shoreline between the home and PYP. I've got my eye on the river/canal that runs under Ardenwood Blvd. It's very near their house and the likely route he'd have taken.

I might have got this from TV, but wouldn't it be 1st degree murder regardless if he killed Hassani during the commission of another felony ?
Say, felony child abuse or disposing of the body ?
I'm sure they can find some other felony during the murder he committed to insure he spends his life in prison.
That is, if he's guilty.

Yes - it is always full-on murder if done during the committing of a felony.

I'm really beginning to hope and pray to God that someone gets Jennifer out of that apartment SOON before he hurts her. I don't know why I say that or why I think it, but I do. What better way to cover his rear end?!?!?

We all wish! My take is that....LR's negligence led to a missing child...no proof of a death, yet! Seems that is what LE are trying to get at. My guess is that right now - child abuse and neglect (felony). LE has to be very careful not to get into a double jeopardy dilemma . This is very similar to the beginning of the Casey Anthony saga. mho
