Also, in the video he mentioned that "polygraphs" were researched on his computer and he said they did research them because of the concern with her being pregnant.

Of course.
Because he loves her sooo much and is sooo concerned about their unborn child, he would never want her to be under too much stress.

Right.

I'll have to listen again because I am not sure whether he said "we were concerned" or "Jennifer was concerned" ...

ETA: "we wanted to see if it would affect Jennifer's pregnancy" is what he said. 1:30/4:07

If LR willingly let LE in the house to search, than why in the video when they searched it LE pounds on the door yelling search warrant????

I can recall when the A's let LE in to search & they were letting them LE didn't pound on their door! They just casually walked up & they knocked....A's let them in & showed them the search warrant to cover the leagal end etc.

So WHY if he let them in to search willingly it looked more like a raid when LE came that day?

I could be wrong, but I don't think he willingly invited them in to search at all! JMHO

OT: Hey I finally caught back up!
That is till tomorow with the hearing for KC...I'll be a jumping bean again bouncing everywhere in so many threads.

Where was he when he was "ending the relationship" ten days before Hasanni went missing? A girlfriend's? A pal's? With family? Did he just stay there and challenge her to get out with the kids?

Wow--that would be nervy considering: it's her house, isn't it?

Angel - you just posted the search warrant...is Ross saying that he let LE in as a gesture of his kindness?

I was confused by the search warrant.
They were looking for any indicia in the name of Louis Ross.

I had to look up indicia. I'm sure some WS geniuses know what it means, but for the rest of us.......WS word of the day..

Main Entry: in·di·cia
Pronunciation: \in-ˈdi-sh(ē-)ə\
Function: noun plural
Etymology: Latin, plural of indicium sign, from indicare
Date: circa 1626
1 : distinctive marks : indications
2 : postal markings often imprinted on mail or on labels to be affixed to mail

Could this mean they have doubts about his identity or could he be using other names ?

BBM. I'm thinking that the only question he passed on the LDT was his address. His name is probably a lie as well. Has any of his family come forward? Do we even know who his family is?

eyes4crime Yep LR sure did say he willingly offered for them to come search etc. etc. It dosen't add up at all that they would yell & pound on the door like they did. They would still secure a search warrant in case anything was found otherwise it would all be thrown out come any possible trial.

IMO it didn't look like a volunteer hey go ahead & search everything you need to. He was upset right after that & did call that lawyer asking why are they focusing on them....etc. etc.

JMHO everyone!

ETA: I sure need to look for something to eat or order something.....didn't eat but crackers for the last 3 days from being sick(not hungry when I get severe flares from my **** fibro!). My stomach is saying feed me....

I have been asking this exact question...if it helps, my buddy the cop told me that a lot of times when they don't know what they are looking for precisely, they will ask for the warrant to give them the right to search for indicia. In other words, anything that may be pertinent to the case that they forgot to add to the warrant in specifics.

Summary of that video:

Reporter said that sword was confiscated as weapon. LR described as decorative Japanese sword. About 2 feet long from his hand width IMO.

Said LE did not need search warrant because he had offered for them to take whatever they needed. (LE agreed they have been forthcoming.)

Jennifer denies that there was domestic violence. Doesn't know where they got that.

LR left the children at the house (ran to bank) on August 10. The children were napping (he says). He said he volunteered that information to police. He had voiced misgivings about raising a handicapped child. LR and JC say it was LR who convinced JC to bring the kids into their home. He had been raised in a similar situation ...

LR says he failed polygraph. Said they told him he was 99 percent deceptive (which according to LR meant he did not pass control questions either).

Controls: Are you 38? Do you live in Fremont? Is your name Louis Ross?
Poly Qs: Do you know where Hasanni is? Can you take us to him?

LR continues to deny having anything to do with Hasanni's disappearance.

ETA: Discussion on polygraphs and that they are computerized make it very difficult to beat.

And if anyone heard anything different from this, let me know. I'll fix.

What time was he at the bank? There should be a record of that as well as security video. Was he there before or after going to the auto salvage?
Is he saying he was raised in foster care or a similar situation by relatives?

I'm looking at my Google Earth map right now. What are your thoughts? I think LE was in a good spot at the shoreline on W Wintner. There's a lot of open space and bodies of water along the shoreline between the home and PYP. I've got my eye on the river/canal that runs under Ardenwood Blvd. It's very near their house and the likely route he'd have taken.

Yellow, I didn't know LE were at the shoreline. How did they get there? I used the "walking man" on google maps to go up & down Cabot from Winton and found both dead-ended in some gov. thingee, kind of like a National Guard outpost. It appeared to me that there was no road to get to the bay around there.

For those that have never lived by the bay. A lot of the roads that you think lead to the bay, dead-end maybe a mile before you get to the bay. I assume it's land owned by Oakland or the gov. or utility companies. So you need to know where you can find access to the bay before you start driving around.

LR might have wanted to take a certain someone swimming but couldn't find a way to get to the swimming hole. If his car has gps and he programmed a location in it, it should still be there.

Oooh, I didn't think of that in regards to the "searching for Indicia in the name of Louis Ross". Wasn't it already said he didn't pass those control questions?

Maybe LE has been lurking here catching all the posts regarding if he actually is Louis Ross . . . . .

Wait a minute. I had a lightbulb moment. (what constitutes one for me anyway.)
He confessed to leaving the kids home alone the same day that Hassani went missing. Seems pretty convenient, doesn't it?
"Yes, Officer, I know he wasn't on the banks surveillance...that's um, uh, becuase, I left him at home...yeah, that's it. He was alive and well at that time, but I did leave him home alone with his much younger sister."

Just saying, isn't this kind of like the guy that gets hauled in for beating his ex to death and tells the prosecutors, "Yeah, I hit her, but that was all I did." Admit something minor so you seem honest and maybe they don't look at you as hard for the big crime.

I really don't have any specific thoughts just that with this slippery guy it would seem to me that he disposed of our little Hassani along the route between the car parts place and home. Also, I think this slippery guy is LAZY so wouldn't go to any great lengths that would require any amount of effort. This is all MOO - but haven't translated this into any particular spot.

Okay, my brain is tired...can someone please direct me to where I read that "Hassani was not seen on security video." I have read through this thread 10 times and I'm missing it. TIA

BBM ---

Sorry, can't find the link at the moment. I read it in an article. The shoreline was just west of the salvage yard so, I figure they searched it because LR was at the yard, or because his cell phone pinged there. It was W Wintner Rd, at the shoreline.
