I know we're favoring water and somewhere nearby, but I would think that he would opt for burial and somewhere further. After all, the "abduction" did not occur in Fremont, but a half hour away in a different city. If he wants anyone to believe an abduction took place, I would think it would benefit him more for a body to turn up closer to Oakland than to Fremont. (What are the odds an abductor from Oakland heads to the exact area the kid's from to dispose of a body?)

Also, the Scott Peterson case got such huge national play, and that was an attempt at a water disposal at Berkeley Marina, bodies found not too far from there in Point Richmond bay. Also, the Fremont area is pretty marshy with low water, which may have made it harder for water disposal. I'm guessing he had a lot longer than one day to figure it out.

Other ideas, for whatever they're worth:
the Sierras
Sacramento / Delta area
Marin County open spaces / Sonoma County (lots of land)

I'd be VERY interested to find out which bridges he crossed between 7/31 or therabouts (when text message was sent and neighbors confirm seeing Hasanni) and 8/10. It may tell us about any unusal trips into these areas being that you have the Richmond Bridge, Golden Gate, Dunbarton, Carquinez, Benicia, Antioch, Bay bridges to name a few.
All good thoughts and I thought of that aspect also that the perp/abductor by Shuz wouldn't return to the area Hasanni lived in. I was going by the trip to the bank, his admission the children were at home to explain why they wouldn't be with him, and something that wouldn't set off a red flag as to cell phone pings. And that "comfort zone" known to be close to home. That is if Hasanni was disposed of the same day he was reported missing. MOO

Exactly what I was looking for ~ thanks! Yes, close to home (familiar area) and in the same cell tower range I'd assume. MOO

Are those bodies of water shallow or deep? Due to the decomp gasses, the child would bloat up and float. Ross would have to 'weigh' him down and I don't think he would go to that kind of trouble. jmo

I'm sure it was a scrub shirt, probably the color the neurologists wear at Stanford. lol I didn't see a wrinkle or a spot on it. He must have changed into it for the photo op don't you think? Maybe that means he went to Shuz right from home. mho
Oh I definitely think he went there straight from home, and after all, he was supposed to go to a job orientation and then class. :)

If you look with google walking map you will see that down Tripole to Paseo Padre Pkwy the whole corner is a huge construction area, large dumpsters heavy equiptment, with google walking map you can see what LR would have seen everytime he left his neighborhood (prime dumping areas ) if done @ night. Which would mean that JC knew. Maybe that odd look of hers is GUILT. I hope she did not know before hand.. I pray someone in his family Loved him,....

Sorry I do not have a link, but in one of the news articles or videos, LR stated that he went to the Bank of America.

Maybe this will help to figure out a timeline a little better.

LOL -- photo op. I think it means he must have cleaned up at home before going to Shuz.

ForensicFan said the ride from Ross' house to Shuz would take about 1/2 hour...does that mean he left home around 3:30PM..just wondering for the time-line. He would first get rid of the child, go home, change clothes, and leave to meet the press. Right?

I have no idea what the body of water is, other than the creek of course...but the other body of water, I dunno...no way to know how deep it is but it is close to the home and I hold to the old statistic that most children murdered by their parents are found close to home  I can't remember exactly but I think it's like 0.5 miles of the home. This area is also within line with the astros location of Hasanni's body

Anyone? I'm not doubting you cleo, I promise, but I don't think any of us have seen this yet.

Even though LE wouldn't be able to track where he went, they'd still be able to trace that it was off and for how long. I'd think having it off for any period of time would be as suspicious as leaving it on and driving to wherever (Hasanni might be). MOO
Yes, it is considered suspicious, when your normal pattern is to leave it on. One town over from where I live, a guy drove up and back from Southern CA to murder his parents, and left his cell phone off for 17 hours- it's one of the pieces of evidence they plan to use against him in his upcoming murder trial.

This shot shows the house and the proximity to banks.

This shot includes all the banks (house is now out of view but would be in upper left).

Just for future reference if we hear which bank he went to.

I'd love to start a timeline thread but what I know is so vague. Hasanni was reported missing around 4:15; LR was seen at the salvage yard just hours before Hasanni was reported missing; he went to the bank and left kids home alone...

ETA: Copying and pasting from Google is a nightmare. I have fixed the format (again!) and have decided to live with the post as it is.

He went to the Bank of America? They're everywhere but here!

Yes, exactly ~ I remember reading about that here! :)

So much for his "gone for 5 minutes"! And I'd think that list is updated and accurate, right?

Rush hour traffic can start around 2 p.m. on I-880, and the freeway can get very, very clogged up. And of course, there is always the odd unexpected accident any time of day that can create a traffic snarl. I can't see him allowing himself only 1/2 hour to get to Oakland that time of day--might take 1/2 hour under ideal conditions.

There is a Bank of America there...maybe it didn't show up on the map.

Ok I looked at that list of relatives on the one Louis W Ross listing---I have no pay program to look them up but I'm not bringing up much on any of them lol. Not trying to be funny here, but how do we know he doesn't have a bunch of relatives out there--one who may have hasanni? We never did find his parents for sure right? I'm so confused any more. I think I need a break.

Are Newark and Freemont two different towns...the map above is all about Newark. I get soooo confused with maps of any kind. I think I'm missing the part of my brain that is directional.

Yes, Fremont is a different city than Newark, Fremont is further North, but along I-880, they do seem to run together...

Gosh it's so great to have first hand information...thanks! Maybe he started about 2 -2:30, after the bank, a shower, change of clothes, maybe he even fed the baby? Course we really don't know for sure what time he got to the Shuz business...the only info we have is his 911 call and his word.
