Fact-free?
Wish I could like this comment a 1000 times :) - definitely like a game of telephone tag or who's on first IMO

Is leaving muffins outside and not waiting for an answer that odd when you consider the fact that it seems she parks in the driveway? So he would know shes not home. Another explanation could be covid? Did he do it for social distancing??

He was supposedly within earshot of the assistant who (again, supposedly) called JW to accuse HP of siphoning money and demand the laptop back so I suspect it’s not covid related. Good point that if she parks in the driveway, he’d know she’s not home. Such a strange case.

CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) shows the football game on Oct. 17th, played at St. Pius/St. Mathias in Downey, with a start time at 3:00pm. CYO - Los Angeles

Assuming someone picked up the muffins because we wouldn't know what he delivered otherwise. Regardless it's a weird thing for a boss to do, imo.

Right but neither of those were the school that he went to in Westwood so I think that is what was confusing to people. It very well could be that he played on a different school/church team.

Contemplating and entertaining scenarios.
So about the 28th floor.
Unless there is complicity and collusion, there are multiple surveillance cameras 24/7 functioning in and around the H&F building and garage. Tape. Security staff, residents who would have at least noticed and remembered a Labradoodle or other relevant information. They would have shared that with LE, the same way they share the details about parties, gunshots, shortcomings and complaints etc etc on Yelp.
So whether Heidi and Seven walked in, Seven walked in, or large suitcases were rolled in with sedated dog and Heidi, LE has a good handle on those movements that day.
About the walking out part. I would have to assume that eitherHeidi walked out or was wheeled out, unless she was discovered in an apartment and for some unfathomable reason her family and friends haven’t been told.
If she walked out, either she or a keeper/minder released poor Seven as she entered the elevator.

Something triggered the appearance of the RHD with federal agents and bizarre late night full-on guns drawn raid/search at her home.
The house was obviously under surveillance, Ring, right? What made LE think they were entering a potential dangerous crime scene? Maybe that’s normal protocol but it seems unusual to carry out a Missing Person follow up at that late hour and with a full troop.
Federal Agents Enter Home Of Missing Woman Heidi Planck With Guns Drawn
Speculating. MOO IMOO.

We can answer yes to if we know the muffin man.

Just throwing out possibilities: 1) We don't know for sure that's true. At the moment, that's hearsay. There's no evidence to prove that she was or that he said that outside of JW saying that. 2) If he did, in fact, say that, maybe he didn't discover it until after she was reported missing? It's odd to me that JS would have had personal bank statements to even look through to begin with. That would indicate he either went through her personal mail or accessed her online bank statements (both illegal) or there was some pending litigation and the statements had been subpoenaed.
…”o what tangled webs we weave…” :)

I was thinking her disappearance had nothing to do with her job….but now with the muffins thing, I don’t know what to think. :(
I tell ya, this is one of the weirder cases, which is why I am hooked.
At this point, I have to agree - I don't know what to think! I would give some credence to the 'she needed to get away and left on her own' theory if it were not for the fact that she is a mother, and reportedly a devoted one. But right now, I am not ruling anything out until we get more info. JMHO.

I am director of a dog rescue. What is a "retrofitted chip"? Chips are injected under a dog's skin at some point by the owner or the rescue. Not sure what they mean when they say "retrofitted", or why they say it at all.

Possibly the dog had a previous owner and that owner is the one who had the dog chipped. When HP got the dog (adopted from a person or an organization perhaps), she then re-registered the chip in her name I.e. retrofitted the chip? At least that is what came to mind when I read it.

Or maybe an address or contact phone change, too.

No, it’s again a case of where the disreputable publication, California News Times has changed the wording of The Sun’s original article.

The Sun wrote: “The dog’s microchip...was an afterthought. I guess it was three or four days later that I started looking." New clues revealed in missing mom mystery from odd text to multiple phones

The disreputable site wrote: “The dog’s microchip was … retrofitted. I think I started looking for it three or four days later.”

I think we’d best stay away from that CNT site.
MOO

I mean, the empty driveway would kind of indicate that, unless that's a garage door you can see on the Google street view and she would use that as opposed to always parking in the driveway.

That's not a garage door. It opens to her living room.

According to listings, it’s a garage. It’s finished and (was? Is?) used as an office/living room. I don’t know what she uses it for though. She could very well use it as a garage.

If I may ask, do you know for certain that SHE did not use it as a garage, because it appears to have been built as one.

And welcome to Websleuths!

its a garage that was staged as extra living space. you can see the garage door opener on the ceiling.

I just think since the first video of her disappearance, she parked outside. So I'm assuming only that maybe she did this regularly because it's not being used as a garage. Just MO
