That's not a garage door. It opens to her living room.

Welcome to WS!

Regardless of whether u decide to do so or not we are glad you've joined us. Your first post is very helpful in getting to understand the layout of Heidi's home FWIW.
Again, welcome.

ETA: Here's another link that might help with some of our shortforms etc...

Somewhere, maybe from a view from next door, or a listing, or the subdivision plat proposal, I saw a view and descriptions of parking between houses.
In a hurried nutshell, the 2015 sales listing reads Back on Market Seller Motivated etc.. they had listed it off and on starting at 825K.
Then it sold but not really for 735K, the sellers became names in an LLC with a weird short term loan and was deeded to LLC’s that kept evolving. Then it was subdivded and deeds and a loan went out to build the new house. And more LLC’s involved.
So not bad. An initial loan of 550k for first sale in 2015 became worth an appraised value of approx 3-3.2 million for the 2 houses. On paper at least.
Who lives in or owns the back house?

Thanks for the local insight. Makes me glad I live where I do!

I'm jealous of nearly every other place that people live, frankly (I've lived in New Mexico, northern California, Utah, West Texas...loved all of them a lot).

But...the weather here cannot be beat and we've redone our yard in a way that resembles woodsy parts of NorCal. Dogs have a big yard. We opted for less house, more yard, IOW (than what you see in Heidi's situation - but her situation is far more what most SoCalos want, they don't want the yard work that we have). We have a nice tall fence in the back, with landscaping that would deter anyone to jump over it - and very visible security cameras in the front - we've had no problems (those people I mentioned with the nice garage have had a couple of incidents involving their vehicles).

Can someone summarize what we know about Heidi's employment history? I've tried to read both threads and am still confused. And does anyone know how old Sugarman is?

The money you paid for the extras in that garage might make you rethink (you'd buy a house with an actual garage). Upmarket garage remodels are expensive and houses that have them cost more. The flooring is leveled, and then expensive tile or carpeting is put on top of that. Our neighbor did it to turn the garage into a master bedroom for her (they can't call it that, codes prohibit a garage redo from being called a bedroom where I live), she has a jacuzzi tub in there, and travertine floors, big windows on two walls, with really nice window coverings. They have expensive vehicles - but they surely wouldn't ruin her pretty travertine by parking a car in there. And if they go to sell their house, they will get more for it than the neighbors with that same house, but no garage redo...because the redo costs money (often, a water heater has to be relocated, and the laundry, and then dry wall isn't cheap here in SoCal - nothing is cheap; labor for plumbing and tiling isn't cheap - our neighbors spent $20,000 on that floor).
i am in cali n(not LA though) my neighbor has that bougie floor in the garage and finished the walls but he still parks in there lol.

After a cursory search.. Reverse address search pulls up a family and an LLC that appears to be owned by said family IMO.. not sure if theres any connection. Obviously I cant post it here but something does come up.

L

There appears to be a shared parking space between the two houses. The lor was subdivided to create and build 2 houses.
The back house was assigned 3131 Helms.
I’ve wondered, makes sense, that there is a back door out of her house, right?
In older property photos back when the old Tudor that was then torn down after sale in sold in 2015, it shows gate access to the street behind the property, too.
Exactly. When I looked at the property records it was originally described as lot A and lot B. Must have been split at some time in the past.

Later when I have some time unless someone else pulls them over from early first thread, I’ll re post those links. Thank you!

Yes that has been discussed here. Its a couple that bought that land and own it under Helms Square LLC so HP must have been renting it from them. Its public record and they also live nearby based on their LLC's mailing address. They are an older couple and I dont think have any connection to this whatsoever. This link has been posted many times which shows that. I wonder where JS lives...anyone find that out?

Thats actually not the same LLC that popped up for me. Reverse address search doesnt have a date or much other info though so I haven't had a chance to dig much deeper than that.

I won't post the names of the family but the LLC that came up for me is Green Path LLC (hopefully that's alright to post)

Not to say that this is definitely correct or anything, but I remembered seeing the Helms Square LLC in the last thread and noticed it wasn't the same so I thought I would share

He said he started calling numbers he didn’t have. It didn’t occur to him to check the other phone for messages for the dog until days later.

Her Ex also said in the NG interview she had an Apple watch, too, left in home. Phones and watch locators all turned off.
I’m thinking when she left home that Sunday, 10/17, she did so not wanting to be tracked or had been told by whoever she was going to meet to leave devices behind, maybe?
I think, too, that there might be a clue or two from her behavior at the Stadium.

My understanding is the Apple Watch was not at her home. She was wearing it when she disappeared. So it is unaccounted for.

At 14:06 of the Nany Grace Crime Stories interview, JW (the ex) says: “She even had an Apple Watch on, and all that stuff is—the Location is shut off.” Crime Stories with Nancy Grace
(11/3/21) So, his statement, to me, MOO, means they tried to do a locator search to find the watch (along with Heidi, hopefully) but due to location services being off they could not locate it. MOO MOO

I think I can kind of make out her wearing something on her right wrist in the video of her leaving for the son’s game. A light colored watch.

I wish we knew more about HP's friend that said she had picked her up at the H + F complex just last year. It stands out for a couple reasons.... 1) why was her car not there and she needed to be picked up from there? 2) LA was pretty locked down still most of 2020 bc the vaccine wasnt even out yet (just an observation) and 3) how does her friend not remember why she picked her up and why/who she was there with?

They are almost 40 like myself (just saying not in college or young where that might happen a lot) and if my best friend asked me to come pick her up at a random apt complex downtown I would certainly ask her these ?s as most best friends would because that would not be a common occurrence... You also think she would have explained like you wouldnt call and ask for a ride when you have a car without explaining why you didnt have it and needed a ride...

Green Path LLC

Interesting. Now that I have a second to do the search, I see it's the same people, just an additional LLC. They have some young adult children as well

It is the same name I see and says they have two companies located at the Hutchison address...the Helms Square and the Green Path one which could be their business.
