Turning location svcs off is different than just turning the phone off & would require someone being able to login. Presumably JS knew her passcode (is that odd?) — but you would imagine that other’s access to her electronics would be limited. Given her erratic behavior & lack of evidence she returned to her home after the game—seems possible she turned that off before she left, & purposely left her phone at home. I think her plan was to be not-locatable.

One particularly weird part is that the car is missing. Seems like it would be hard to make a car disappear….

Yes the car piece is very strange. It would be hard to have it be undiscovered by now in the LA metro area, unless it’s gone to a chop shop or something. Just too many people and not enough open space.

My understanding is the Apple Watch was not at her home. She was wearing it when she disappeared. So it is unaccounted for.

I think I can kind of make out her wearing something on her right wrist in the video of her leaving for the son’s game. A light colored watch.

I have an aversion to that celebrity and certainly did not listen to the entire interview, it’s great you can detail that. I did not understand that she was wearing her watch, only that it was on, like her phone/s were but had location off. I didn’t hear that she was wearing it as you quoted, in the snippet I did listen to. Thanks for clarifying.

Apple family would hook her son’s phone into her account and allow access.
All the devices can show last location, before deactivation. It’s hard to imagine not linking the devices. I did that and it’s frustrating.
The later model watches can make and receive calls, SOS etc., even if not paired with a phone.
I don’t understand why she would keep her watch.

Perhaps the friend does know the circumstances around picking her up at H+F, but chose not to divulge those to the public. I do wonder why she would have mentioned it at all in that case though. I do trust she told LE everything she knows about that pick-up. JMO

He obviously wasn't planning to stay long, he left his car door open. Wonder how the neighbors recognize him? Was he a frequent visitor? Maybe he was around a lot when the house was being built, managed the project for Banc of California (sign on fence during construction)?

You have to pay for a cellular line for your watch to be able to make calls without your phone nearby. My watch is a newer model and I only paid a one time fee for the watch as opposed to adding it to my cell phone plan because it wasn’t worth the extra expense to me. It’s the same as linking a wifi only iPad to your iPhone.

And has no one from her family actually went to California for answers? If I were LE, I'd want to communicate with her next of kin on developments, not an ex-spouse. Although, I guess they could have given permission for him to be the point of contact since he's there and has BW.

Not only are the phones confusing, but up until today I thought one of the phones was missing and thought the interview with NG indicated her computer was also missing. Now I'm thinking all has been going except the RR, purse, maybe an Apple watch, and HP.
