Not sure what she had to pay for those wigs and extensions, but she has them listed at approximately $16k retail prices. She has been divorced for several years, since 2012 IIRC, so not sure if ex would have just given any or all of them to her, but I doubt it. Seems she had a different look for any occasion, or any evening out. Again, this just strikes me as one more indicator that the lifestyle she was living was seemingly well beyond her likely means. JMO
Or that her means are vastly complicated and under shall we say, reported.

Darn it, yes it's behind a paywall. Did LAPD hold any press conferences in that case?

I don’t believe there were any press conferences, no. His mom felt the police weren’t taking it seriously, felt dismissed; thought they weren’t doing anything actively to find him. But they were.

I think this is what she feared. HP listed as a member of a cannabis venture Capital LLC using her home address would explain why LE raided her home, planned coincidentally after she goes missing. Arcadian suing Cura and all that entails would put HP in a dangerous situation. MOO
IMO this stuff is all business. Acquisitions often run the risk of litigation. Additionally, the case settled in June. Why would LE be raiding her house?

Remember JW said he was told that she had “siphoned off” funds.
I was able to read the entire article. Cannabis industry is dangerous. Did they ever get a motive for this man's murder? MOO
It’s a high stakes new frontier, for sure.

Regarding the Arcadian/Cura stuff - it’s all money at least for Arcadian. Its not a “cannabis venture” - it’s a venture capital firm that happens to invest in the cannabis space.

I’d personally find it unlikely that she was involved with lower level, riskier stuff like actually working at a dispensary. Cura might operate dispensaries and acquire land/farms, but her side is Arcadian, and they are purely investors and consultants. They helped set Cura up with another business and then sued over not getting a finders fee they believed they were contractually owed. Just money.

We also know from looking at her business dealings that she has her name on everything but we don’t know if she’s involved in any more than that. She could literally just be compensated for registering things in her name and for some strange reason, her personal address.

The vigil should be going on right now, is that right?
Thinking of you, Heidi.

Could it be possible Heidi kept a small apartment at H+F to work a "side hustle" when her son was with his dad? The downtown location would be much more accessible and she could remain fairly anonymous. With the clothes, hair, and make-up she could be a $$$ "escort" working various games, conventions, etc at the Staples Center and surrounding hotels. She could keep her clothes and wigs there rather than her home. Just my mind trying to come up with a scenario.

re: the muffins that JS dropped off......i know it's obviously totally different circumstances but for some reason that made me immediately think of Brian Laundrie's parents having donuts delivered to their house. Seemingly lack of urgency/concern? things that make you go hmmm.....o_O

Heidi disappeared on 10/17.
In looking back at Thread #1, I just noticed it was opened on 10/28.
That is really the first date JW talked to the press, when they got the bulletin from LAPD about a missing person?
He had already filed for change of custody, too, without even asking yet for the public’s help to find her.
Her friends were also quiet up until then, too.

What was opened 10/28? Sorry I'm not understanding this post.

Thread 1, began on 10/28.
I just noticed it was created on 10/28- and it seems to correspond with JW’s first public interview. 11 days after Heidi went missing.

I hope LE ran all DNA found on doggie's collar.

I don't have a best theory yet, but the dog being found where it was points me more toward thinking that someone wanted to make sure it was cared for, so that could support your best theory. Or she's being held hostage in the building and her vehicle has been hidden or dismantled. (That's a wild theory, but it does fit the few facts we have.) I'd jump on the 'got in her head and fled' theory if it were not for her son, and you're right about finding the RR. If HP was without her phone, purse, and vehicle when she went missing, I would jump to foul play almost immediately, but I can't go there yet. JMHO
As tight as the security is in that building, every movement she made was caught on camera. Do LE have that footage? Or, did H+F stall long enough for it to be deleted? I hope not.

That said, if H+F's key system is as sophisticated as has been reported, maybe there is a digital record of key fobs used during the time she was there. We saw evidence of that in Miya Marcano's case.

I still believe that something happened to her in that building.
