Doe Network says "The shoes are of a style reminiscent of the 1980's."

So is the white blazer and shirt with shoulder pads, imo. NamUs says "Long-legging bl" - wonder if it's something to do with pants but got left off?

I'm wondering if she was there way longer than 2.5 years. Unless she was headed to an 80s party or something.

Malisa looks like a good possible, Shadowdancer! I'm wondering if her Asian/Pacific Islander ancestry is mixed with Caucasian (Kerr surname) - maybe that particular combination made it difficult to make a good guess on race for the UID.
I wonder if this case is similar to Patricia Gildawie's; she was estimated to have been deceased for a short time when in fact Patricia died nearly 30 years before she was found. Perhaps that will be true for this decedent based on the 80's style clothing.

Maybe we should start looking at missing girls from the 80's

This case seems incredibly similar to this 197ufmd to me. Both were found fully dressed in business attire, found in places where people don't often go (forest/desert) and both are about the same age. Although, they were found in different parts of the country.

I find it amazing that there is NOTHING in the news about this case AT ALL. This case is unique to me, due to the clothing, unknown race, location and circumstances. I think shadowdancer has made a great match. Malisa Kerr fits all parameters!!

I think this is referring to black leggings. Oversized blazers with giant shoulder pads, worn with bike shorts and/or leggings and booties was trend in the early 90s. So I don’t think the clothing is necessarily from the 80s. See examples below

That makes total sense - thanks for including the photos, too!

I wonder if she had such an outfit, maybe she was going to an interview/to a cafe? Speaking of the possibility of an interview, earlier in 2020 someone here introduced Ingrid Contreras who was leaving after an interview, but the truth is that the clothes did not match.

I'm new, but did anyone know what her boyfriends name was? Malisa Kerr?

i'm sad that this case is not updated. This case really deserves attention. I first saw this case in 2024 and it caught my attention because of the poor girl's clothes and how she was found. I really hope that the Othram will look at this case and decide if it is their case.
@Caring1 can you throw this girl's exclusions?

I found some approximate photos of the clothes from the Internet. Do you think it's worth asking the investigator on this case about the photos of the clothes?

What possible mixed race did the AI Assistant suggest for me based on this reconstruction:
The reconstruction shows a young girl with features that could indeed indicate mixed ancestry. Here are the possible options:
### 1. The main racial characteristics visible in the reconstruction:- Face shape: oval, with soft features, which is common in mestizos or people of mixed Caucasian and Mongoloid/Amerindian descent.- Nose: medium width, not too high bridge - this could indicate Hispanic, Native American, or Filipino influence.- Lips: moderately full, which is common in many ethnic groups, including African Americans, Latinos, or Native Americans.- Hair: reddish brown (as stated in the case) - this shade is rare in purely African or Asian populations, but is possible in mestizos, Caucasians, or Native Americans.
### 2. Most likely mixed race options:- Hispanic (mix of Spanish and Native American blood)- Many Hispanics have these features: medium nose, soft cheekbones, variations from fair to dark skin.- California has a lot of Mexican and Central American people.
- Native American (Native American blood) + Caucasian- Some tribes (e.g. Navajo, Apache) have these features.- If she had leg surgery, it could be due to a congenital anomaly (e.g. some Native American groups have a higher risk of certain genetic conditions).
- Filipino or Polynesian + Caucasian admixture- Filipinas often have mixed Asian-Spanish features.- California has a Filipino diaspora, especially in rural areas.
- African American with strong Caucasian admixture- If she had light reddish hair, it could be a result of admixture.
