Herman Pettigrew, 77, was last seen on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at about 3:00 p.m., walking eastbound in the 18800 block of Carlton Avenue in Castro Valley.

Pettigrew has diagnosed cognitive impairment and is traveling without a cell phone. He may be unfamiliar with public transportation and possibly without money.

Pettigrew is described as a black male, 6'3" tall, 225 pounds, white hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue beanie, glasses, black jacket, red undershirt, white pants, and back shoes.
