Identified! CA - Hoopa, UnkRaceMale, off Bair Rd, Mar'15 - Johnny Deleon

On Sunday, 03-22-2015 at about 10:10 p.m. a citizen contacted the Hoopa Valley Tribal Police Department, regarding human remains he had discovered in a wooded area off Bair Road which is off Pine Creek Road, Hoopa.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office had seven homicide cases this year with the two unsolved cases.

One of them is the case of Johnny Deleon of Fresno who was found dead on March 22. His body was found in a wooded area off of Bair Road in Hoopa. The sheriff’s office was unable to positively identify Deleon until July. The cause of death has not been released.

Sad. Seems like there are suspects in this case, whether or not LE has been able to figure out who they are. I think this murder was related to marijuana.
