"All of this has been a nightmare," Briant's father, Raul Rodriguez said in Spanish, while sitting with relatives on backyard patio of the home. "All this time we've been asking God, praying the rosary, to have him back here in our arms.

"The greatest fear of my life was to never be able to see my son again and lose him forever. It would have been the death of me. We're not going to be truly happy until he's back here in our arms."

That could be sometime tonight after Briant and his mother arrived back to the Inland area. First he'll be taken to a hospital for an examination, San Bernardino County Sheriff's officials said.

Raul Rodriguez said he had no details on the kidnapping or the boy's discovery in Mexico.

Investigators close to releasing identities of Briant Rodriguez's kidnappers

...Sheriff Rod Hoops said today that investigators are "pretty sure" they know the identities of the men accused of kidnapping 3-year-old Briant Rodriguez and that arrests could be imminent...

..."In the next 48 to 72 hours, we're going to provide all the information you're asking now," said sheriff's Lt. Rick Gonzales.

I hope there are plenty of awards and commendations to go around for the LE and FBI that worked so hard and eventually did bring Briant home safe and sound :)

And may justice be served swiftly for the men who did this.

We are doing really good this week. This is the second child to be found safe and sound and heading home with mom. Two miracles in one week is a record for missing kids. Now if they could just find Haleigh Cummings I would be so thrilled.

Those guys that took this baby must have gotten scared and just turned him loose on the streets! Thank God a cop happened to see him and they finally put 2 + 2 together and came up with him being the abducted baby boy.

I notice that mom flew to Mexico with the detectives.....where is dad? Not much said about him throughout this whole ordeal.

I hope LE get to the bottom of this and we find out the reason they took this little guy in the first place.

Oh, Thanks Momdetective for that article. Reading it I felt this thankfulness well up inside me to all who helped bring Briant back home. Ya Ya

To the beat cop who found him, the Mexican LE staff who discovered who he was, the SBPD and AA staff and to our bold and brave FBI man who made that mission, going to Mexacali alone with Briant's paperwork and not leaving till he had ahold of his hand, driving him up to the waiting arms of his mother.

It is just what we all here pray for in every case, right?

Now, in afterthought, seeing how the Mexican officials worked together with the FBI and evidently the SBPD, maybe this will send a signal to the bad guys out there and they will realize they have no safe haven in messing with families here in the States.

Now to find these perps and watch how they are dealt with by the Federalies, or whoever handles that. It will be 'velly intellesting' to watch.

A :blowkiss: for little Briant who really turned out to be a very BIG BOY, walking those dangerous streets by himself. I think he had a Guardian Angel watching over him and of course it helped that he most likely spoke Spanish. Hopefully this bad memory will be forever lost as he grows up into manhood. xox

I got up this morning and thought I was seeing things. God bless this family and thank you for these miracle's. This mother must be so thrilled and just....wow....thank god. Let's keep this family in our prayers because Briant has been through such a traumatic experience he will surely need it. I hope whoever took him treated him like a child should be treated. Any word on his captors?
