Maybe you can ask a mod or someone else here knows how to post a picture. I'd love to see it.

Thank you for posting! I agree, that look speaks volumes.

I'm glad I figured out how to post it! There was an altercation (which I found out in Jan was a common occurance) where the police were called to this party in Nov, it was between a few of the guests.

:rose: Thinking of this family, and this young mother. Hopeful that this little boy is somewhere safe.

Remains found near Desert Hot Springs (not sure if this could be Jennifer):
SKY VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) --

While conducting a search Friday at a home near Desert Hot Springs, investigators found human remains that are believed to be of a woman who went missing in 2009.
Authorities initiated the search after a probable suspect, who is incarcerated, provided information that a body was buried at the location, a Los Angeles Police Department captain said.

The identity of the deceased person was not immediately released.

LAPD detectives said the disappearance of the 23-year-old woman was reported to the agency's Devonshire Division in 2009.

I was just reading this article.

"Shimanek asked Riffenburg the obvious question: Why did you do it?
He told her he had made a promise to people he'd previously done time behind bars with, whom he considered "his family," that "they would always come first."

He could not keep that promise, he explained, "with Jennifer and Alexander in the picture."

He gave the agent a pair of hand-drawn maps, marking the grave sites where he said he buried Jennifer wrapped in a blanket and Alexander wrapped in plastic.

Jennifer's grave was in her sister's backyard; Alexander's was behind Fern's house."

He buried the bodies in her sister's and mom's backyards... how cold... what a sick individual. I hate that I want to say I am thankful he confessed. I'm glad he did but he sure doesn't get brownie points from me for it.

May Jennifer and Alexander rest in peace now. :rose:

In their back yards? Wow. That is awful. Do they live rurally? It seems if it was a suburban backyard they would notice soil disturbance. In a way, at least they were right their with the ones they loved.

Oh no...Honestly I thought that he probably killed Jennifer. I did not believe he took his own baby son's life though...Just wow, what a sick person. At least he finally confessed after all these years.

RIP Jennifer & Alexander.

Very spread out desert area. https://goo.gl/maps/bXjEDhfUfyr If this map doesn't work, look for Hot Springs Rd
Desert Hot Springs, CA 92241 to get a general idea of where it is.

It’s a stand alone house, just off the main road enough to be unnoticed. I’ve driven by thousands of times

Thomas Riffenberg, 31, who is serving a life sentence for stomping a cellmate to death, confessed to suffocating 23-year-old Jennifer Anne Walsh and her 16-month old son, Alexander, in a letter to an Oregon Department of Justice agent, who Riffenberg later met face to face and provided hand-drawn maps showing the supposed locations of the buried bodies.

I am the sister. The investigation is NOT over and we were ALL told not to contact media. ID has not been done and Alexander has not been found. I am discusted at the people who would push this dispite the investigators wishes. All I can say is that I am heart broken but my sisters story should be told correctly. Gods Speed to the Detectives on the case. I will tell the long sad story of Jennifer Anne Walsh when this is over.

I lived there for months after and noticed nothing. My kid played in the yard daily. I must wait for Facts. Until then I relive everyday since.

I believe she was found but it can take months for DNA to come back so its prob not positive ID yet. I hope he wrote the gma back and showed him the right area so they can recover the baby.

my god, why didn't he just walk away from them?

Unimaginable tragedy.. ;(

Was Alexander ever recovered? I can’t seem to find anything confirming that. Also curious as to why both of their NAMUS pages are still up? I thought at least Jennifer had been identified..
