I guess so because it darned sure doesn't have one thing to do with this murder trial.

All I can hope is all of this irrelevant fluff, which means absolutely nothing, winds up opening the door for the state to drive a Mack truck through.

This is nothing more than a character witness which isnt even allowed in this phase.

I can see why the state is legitimately objecting.

Hasn't it been said that they were not there? I'm not at home so can't check my notes and I'm unsure if it was something from the trial or not

Javis was questioned by investigators about what she remembered about February 4th. She was 15y/o at the time. She recalls her dad was in the vicinity when he got a call from McStay and he didn't pickup because he was talking to her mom. Prosecution is objecting to speculation.

But the call didn’t register on Merrit’s phone did it?

Javis told investigators about the argument that occurred in the evening. The argument was touched off by Merritt ignoring McStay's call. The next day she says her dad could not get a hold of McStay.

Seems she has a good long term memory.

On the night of February 4, 2010 she recalls telling detectives she was watching a movie at the theater, but corrected herself and said it might have been the club house watching a movie. She is being shown a transcript.

#McStay - Upcoming trial schedule: March 18 - adjourn early, March 27th - afternoon session only. NO COURT: March 21, 25, 26, 28th, April 1, 2. April 3 - Morning session only. Jurors informed they should have the case by end of April.
