Are there close up photos of the bathroom floors?

They went through all the photo's of the home with Denys Williams, they showed close up's of floors, counters, bathtubs, etc.

ETA: I believe they went through some of those same photo's with Steers when he testified the first time as well.

I saw photos of the edges but not close ups of the entire floors.

But this is not what the State expert witness, Dr. C, testified to and this is what the jury has as evidence.
"Up to 60 minutes" means what it says - not more than, but can be less than. It's anyone's guess.

*pure speculation*

IMO Chase is our guide in this case, because he is like the Wizard of Oz behind the curtain, manipulating counsel, without testifying.

When he tells us about a knife - its because he knows things only the killer knows, same as when he tells us he never saw Joey's last call (he didn't).

IMO when the defence points out all the dirt - this is a really good point - precisely because Chase knows how it went down - and it was otherwise.
He wouldn't have told them anything though - knife or dirt.

Oh my mistake. I thought they said it would be 60 minutes. That could be anything from 1 minute up to 60 minutes.

It’s hard to imagine them being able to make this court case a bigger mockery than they already have but somehow they are managing it.

A 2 week break in the middle of a death penalty case is ......

Unacceptable.

A disgraceful "middle finger" to the justice system...

The problem with that even the expert is having to guess.

Imo I no more believe they all laid there for an hour before they died. Not with those injuries, I dont think the jury will believe it either.

They could have died shortly after their skulls were crushed from instantly dying or within seconds to 2 or 3 minutes.

Once the heart stops beating the blood stops flowing. It takes about 4 or 5 minutes for the blood to stop slowly seeping out depending on the size of each victim, and its not gushing out at a rapid pace because it has no force behind it anymore.

Imo
I have been advocating this scenario for a while. Each victim could have died with the first blow, although unfortunately I don't feel this was the case with the boys. Skulls could have been struck and fractured after death and the skin not necessarily broken. If there was skin broken or lacerations it would probably only be on the heads.

If they're taken by complete surprise with a massive whack to the head I don't suppose they would have time to scream. IMO
Hope that is true for Summer and the children. Not so for Joseph. We saw his scream.

If anyone is feeling it, it must be the defendant. He must be in a panic.

I think that was more of a function of decomposing, the muscle bands holding the lower jaw up disintegrated and the lower jaw came down. But I had your same reaction on first sight.

What about the potential bleach stain on the carpet - that would be a classic pooling
Indeed. And right by the front door.

I like your assessment much better so I'm going with it.

I recall close up's of the floors, not just edges. Not just in the bathrooms either. There was a lot of zooming in on the pictures during testimony IIRC. Denys Williams testifed on Day 8 if anyone wants to go and watch it.

Does anyone know.... putting the youtube links in here, does it bog down the forum, is it discouraged? I shared 3 in one post earlier today, and afterwards, I was wondering about that lol

You can hear it for yourself here, at 28:20. It's a question the judge asks.

Yes I have just been back through her cross-examination, the bathroom floors appeared to be clean, both master bathroom and downstairs, it was only some of the edges at the base boards in the downstairs bathroom where they zoomed in on what appeared to be dirt.

Possible.

Imo CM wanted them all dead, and he wanted it to happen the second he started attacking each one.

I think he struck each one until he was sure they were dead. Then went to the next one.

Just my opinion though.

There are 3 bathrooms. 2 upstairs, 1 upstairs (the one being prepped and mirror missing), 1 in the master and then 1 on the main floor (by the office and I believe it's just a toilet/sink). I don't recall if they zoomed in on them all, but they did zoom in, in more than 1 area in more than 1 bathroom, and they zoomed in on numerous spots from other area's in the house, including the kitchen, living room, laundry room showing footprints, paw prints, dust, dirt. It is my opinion, that house was not cleaned, and no floors were cleaned, you are free to think it was. :)

ETA: the downstairs bathroom had a shower... just looking at the photo's again :)
