The only thing LaRock has proven is that he's a biased moron being paid good money by the defense. Period.
I'd agree with all that. Unscrupulous too in my opinion.

Yuck.

How come there isn't a peep on the internet about what's going down at this trial? If I didnt come here, I wouldn't know anything.

It requires dedication to listen to hours of audio with no pictures. Next to no reporting too. :)

If anyone bumps into Cathy Russon on their travels can they let her know that yesterday afternoon hasn't been uploaded to youtube yet.

It sounds like it's going to be a very one-sided documentary, no? Have they interviewed anyone apart from defense witnesses?

Poor guy. He is looking rather pale today. Very different from his demeanor under direct. Will be interesting to see how the DT tries to bulk him up. He appears to be withering on the vine. MOO.

:D:D:D:D

I was only able to listen this morning... had one ear bud in while working and then moving stuff (parents are moving this weekend). But it didn't "sound" like that IMO A few times I had to look to see what the heck, cuz he was asking to have questions repeated... Imes moves around a lot, turns away mid question, it was really annoying even just listening to it that I had to look to see why LOL I missed bits and pieces of some of it, and I really don't see a lot of posts about the actual testimony so unfortunately I have to wait until later and hope they update it!

On another note... will there be court on Monday? @Mica ... my go to court person LOL

I think the better question would be, have any of the prosecutions witnesses been asked? have they accepted, have they declined? I can't recall off hand, but were any of the State witnesses even asked that question? I think this one "seems" like it is from Chase's perspective, but really, in the end, I wonder if the person doing the doc could represent it however he wants, will be interesting to see when it's finished. JMO Just from other documentaries that I have watched, most ethical prosecutor's will not make a lot of statements before the end of trial, but who knows afterwards IMO

Drama!!

Dan's phone records show he was in Hawaii I think. Area code 808. Objections from defense. They've gone to sidebar.

Does anybody know if the boys (Joey and Summer's) knew DK? Would they be able to identify him the same way they would be able to identify Merritt? In my opinion, the primary reason the boys were killed was to prevent them from identifying the perp.

That got me thinking...

Was Merritt the only person around JM whom the boys would be able to identity?

That's hardly a motive, If being in debt is a motive for murder 80% of adults in the country are suspect.

From the argument outside the jury presence Maline mentioned DK was broke around the time the family disappeared, according to his financial accounts. That part of the reason he's angry with JM buying him out. The prosecution objected to that.

Actually there is also enough evidence that he hated Summer immensely enough to murder her, and the rest was collateral. There is more than one motive here IMO.

Where is the evidence he hated Summer enough to murder her?

Hated her enough to murder her! That's a pretty strong statement. What exactly would that evidence be?

^^

"She was murdered in the same dwelling that a check was produced"
"his same truck is caught on camera leaving the Mcstay driveway"
I don't see see any evidence of hatred towards her. Oh well it's been nice chatting with everyone and exchanging ideas but I must leave now, I have a farm to tend to I must get the fields prepared for this years planting of Corn.

CM didn't like SM, but there is no evidence he hated her. There were people who actually hated her.

Make sure to use manure, there's plenty of it to spread around.

You are correct, are you also a farmer? If there's one thing corn likes as much as water it's manure. bye bye:D

:D No wonder the cornfield is so full of foul smell. :eek:o_O:(

IMO LaRock is the best witness seen so far in this trial. And it's amazing how he was undaunted and held his composure under the bully of Imes.

Judge: "The court will take Judicial Notice that area code 808 is in the state of Hawaii."

ok, so from what I heard earlier... Imes brought up that Schroeder testified that there was "user activity" on the 5th on the computers.. BUT Schroeder changed his opinion later in his testimony and said it was system access.

He is doing it again right now with these VM's.. and on cross Boles had to change his opinion and would only say "I would like to confer with AT&T to answer that question better"...

Now... to me... why highlight that? LOL

Whatever is the case I wont watch this documentary. The ones I've have tried to watch were so one sided, I became quickly bored. Especially those who started production before the trial began.

I doubt the prosecutors would participate, and surely not before the trial has even ended. But if it's from Merritt's perspective I highly doubt the prosecutors were even asked, including any family members of the victims.

Athough I cant see any of the family members wanting to participate anyway. The family members can have someone like Dateline produce their heartfelt story.

Now after its over, later on I would watch one that represented both sides with the defense, and prosecutors speaking. I wouldn't watch if they did a personal interview with Merritt though.

I suffered through that when he did one on CNN, and it gave me nightmares, because I knew then he was THE ONE!

I'm not sure of the dates or the relevance of the code just to be clear. I believe they may have been showing a portion of his records covering Feb 1st and 2nd.

This cross is a thing go beauty so far. This 'expert' isn't smirky and smiley right now. He is shown to be inaccurate and biased, in yesterday's testimony.

He got some of his calculations wrong. And he ignored Joseph's bank records and so he was incorrect about how much Chase actually owed Joey. He is forced to admit as much.

It will take miracle for the defense to rebuild this man!

What a difference a day makes.
