Dugal back on the stand this afternoon!

And after all the testimony that nails Merritt and they are worried about the truck this is not good imo.

Maybe they just want to determine how large the side compartments are and whether he could've stored the bodies in them. It's hard to tell from a photo.

Ever notice how Maline calls DK “Kavan-off?”
It makes me want to grab him and shake him and say, “It’s Kavan-awww!”

Maline up to his dirty tricks again, trying to pull a fast one on the court, probably taking advantage of an error made by DuGal.

He knows darn well Mr Jackson testified that he worked the afternoon shift up until 11 pm and that Mr Murray would not have been there to see the vehicle parked there before his shift, which began at 11 pm.

I feel bad for Patrick and him having to make travel arrangements for the closing. And I feel bad for him with all the craziness of this trial.

And he knows Joey's phone did not have voicemail messages dated prior to the 11th of Feb (I think that was the date). We speculated that all prior messages had been erased.

IMO

Maline doesn’t look well to me for some reason. Maybe I never looked at him closely before, but I’ve never noticed how gaunt he looks.

Yes I didn't get the point of this line of questioning again?

My guess to remind the jury that there were no messages from MM and DK in the time frame immediately after the disappearance.

Hope the jury remembers they were no messages because they were all erased. IMO

It was the 15th, well, more specifically, the 2nd message in the VM references a news article about the family missing, so it's sometime from the 15th or later for all the messages, and we knew this because it came up in Dugal's cross-exam earlier in the trial.

I feel for him. Trials are intense and can ruin your health. Or make it worse.

Yeah, I'm willing to bet other attorney's can relate to this too! I don't think some realise just how stressful it is being a lawyer and how it can take take a toll on one's health. :(

Doubt Mr. Imes could relate to this. He basically only needs to yell objections which probably helps him relaxing.

Welcome!

From my understanding the death penalty option was voted in by CA voters at the ballot box. The majority still want it as an option.

What the Governor did was suspend all execution during HIS time in office.

I believe it would have to be put back on the ballot again for voters to decide if it is to be repealed or not.

Imo

He can only suspend the imposition. The Court can still sentence someone to death.

He's killing himself for his client. And CM looks fine!

I happen to love Imes. He's great when examining witnesses. But I love Melissa more. It's a girl thing. She is a fabulous 3rd stringer, IMO.

I respectfully disagree about the girl thing. I think she's an outstanding attorney who just so happens to be a female. She's a very strong & confident person. I agree 100% with the rest of your comment though. :)

Really you think that's all Imes basically does? I'd give my left arm to have half the knowledge that any one of the attorneys have. I don't particularly care for some of the DT tactics, however, I'm not afraid to give them credit when credit is due. There are some extremely bright people sitting at those 2 tables, with the exception of one person.

The 15 or so days after the family disappearance were crucial. So phone messages were erased for Feb. 4 - 15th, and the neighbor Mitchley's surveillance camera mysteriously stopped recording during Feb. 5 - 14th. Family reported the disappearance on the 15th.

Strange coincidence

Strange coincidence
And no messages or calls from Merritt on the home phone or Summer's voicemail same period.

Very strange.

Merritt didn't wait until the 15th to raise concern. Merritt also didn't get access to the neighbor's surveillance camera footage, did he? Those people that contacted neighbor Mitchley for the camera footage, who were they? This Feb. 4 - Feb. 15 period is very intriguing.
