No, That is NOT what I posted. Re-read it:
"The only person who gained financially before, during and after the murder was CM, through fraud and deceit."

Leaving aside whether that above statement is true or not (in fact, he LOST the new business opportunity with JM), and what does "during the murder" means:

If he gained financially BEFORE the murder, then he didn't need to murder.

OTOH, DK gained AFTER the murder, making it consistent with having a motive to murder in order to gain.

It matters in the sense that some want to point at CM stealing making him guilty, but he was not the only one who stole from Joey.
It's a CE case. CM "stealing" is part of the evidence, NOT the only evidence. To say he is guilty because he had been "stealing" (your word) and only stealing is farcical.

Leaving aside whether that above statement is true or not:
He murdered to COVER his thefts and debts of and to Joey.
During would imply being in the house while the McStays were having their lives taken.

Yep. Half day tomorrow, Monday, then nothing until 5/21, Tuesday. I am holding out hope that Mr.McGee may return tomorrow and let us all off the hook, one way or the other. Especially after Mr. Ime's accusation that he was out drinking and dancing the Saturday before last.

For goodness sake. When did this happen? Over the weekend?
Don't hold me to it but I thought the judge acknowledged that a juror would not be there in the morning.
May need the more astute posters to weigh in, though I think I have it right.

It sux, IMO.

This is all there is on the Portal for next week:

05/13/19 Jury Trial
9:30 AM

I thought it was a full day not half a day--where did you see it's for half a day? @citygirl

Especially after Mr. Ime's accusation that he was out drinking and dancing the Saturday before last.

Two things Imes has yet to provide: proof that Chase is guilty; proof that McGee is not ill. What does he have? Nothing. Hopefully, he will not scream "objection" to McGee's doctor.

From the Court Portal...

Also, at the end of the last hearing the Judge said they would meet May 13th and be off until the morning only of the 21st, then full days the 22nd and 23rd.

Lol. McGee is not on trial and Imes has proven that Merritt is guilty but some are still in denial. :D

Let me go back and find it. Give me a minute.
Okay. I got confused. Just went back and listened. Full day tomorrow and half day on 5/21.
Sorry for the confusion.

I can't be trusted, though I do try. :D

So no jury tomorrow? I remember Imes requesting a "status meeting" regarding McGee at the earliest Monday.

The judge told the jurors he would see them on Monday, the 13th. Maybe the status meeting will take place before the hearing, if at all.
