My impression is that they are not adversarial at all. They were conferring quietly when DR was on the stand. No real animosity. Seem to respect each others roles. And, I like the judge. I haven't seen a lot of drama.

I agree. It's an exciting trial all the way around. And by exciting I am referring to the attorney back and forth. Not what the trial is about. That is very sad.

I'm going to have to watch this tonight. I've missed too much to come to any conclusion. McGee said he had a background in physics and computer science (unusual for an attorney) so he is going to zero in on things the average attorney might not even think to ask.

Most of what we are looking at here, including cellular ping evidence, involves physics.

Isn't it crazy? LOL It works out okay for me, I will be able to keep up since they post video at the end of the day and it doesn't take long to watch LOL but geeesh!!!!!

They had Monday off and no Jury in yesterday and today they break at least 2 hours early.

But I mean it’s all ok as they still got their 1 and a half hrs lunch break even though they finished hours early.

I only dabble. But it helps to understand how radio waves really work, to understand ping evidence.

And drive tests are being increasingly used in criminal trials, and though it's hard to say how reliable they are in terms of historical reconstruction when performed in present day, if the defense has a drive test done in 2o10 that should be revealing.

I don't know. IMHO, cell tower pings and pinpointing locations is just this side of junk science. Many people have been exonerated, previously convicted of murder because of false information provided on "pings"

I agree. And the training that LE gets in this appears to be minimal. It is especially unreliable when it comes to historical data. Some telephone companies won't even testify at trial to the accuracy of CDRs that go too far back.

I believe they might. McGee asked one of the phone dudes about drive test data.

Someone posted about the search warrants the other day (I think it was Tortoise) that Chase got rid of his phone shortly after the murders.... I sure hope his reason wasn't because of "dropped calls" or "limited coverage". I had read that a few weeks ago in the search warrants and that was my first thought

Look, I'm not saying CM didn't commit the crime, there's plenty of circumstantial evidence. However; I've never been convinced he didn't have help, in the least with transportation. That's something LE has never even tried to explain. Completely ignoring that HUGE issue

The problem is for me Chase can not explain away the back dating of the Cheques.

So I don’t like a few people involved in this case and I think Joey unfortunately was taken advantage of by multiple low life’s who took advantage of his good nature. But by the looks of things it was Chase at that home and he would of been the one who back dated the cheques.

Now I don’t believe that this was just down to theft and I am also not convinced all the family was killed in the home. But at we are only on day 16 I guess I have another 5 months to be convinced.
