Those dates and times, given in this recent testimony, was for FIVE different electronic devices. They included CM's iPhone, and the Mcstays desk top, their i-tablet and their laptop and I believe CM's home computer.

I think the info from the 2/8 searches MIGHT have been retrieved from Chases home computer, as he logged in to the QB remotely?

They didn't mention which device? I assumed, so far, it was all from the McStay family pc. Geeze, this is confusing.

Kinda creepy, the killer in the house of a murdered family, using their computers at 2:00 in the morning a few days later......no worries about getting busted that early in the morning, JMO.
Oh my goodness! It really was 2 am? This is new. So creepy. The early morning of the day the trooper was driven to the border? Do I have that right?

I missed the first 27 minutes of this afternoon session.......will have to re-watch tonight.

No, it was said at the top, that there were 5 devices tested. They seemed to be jumping around. o_O

I didn't even think of that, explains how the car seats got in the Trooper if you know what I mean. Who's going to see him?

The last device talked about was CM's I Phone when they went to sidebar.

Cross: Date is 02/04/2010 at 7:56 pm on QB "search" from e-machine Mcstay's PC.?

from Russom:

We can only assume the computer records are Pacific time (which goes against everything I've seen in courtrooms) BECAUSE prosecutors say Merritt accessed QuickBooks with McStay's computer Feb 7:56pm. The record they showed today was 7:56pm

yes, I believe that is correct

Hmm, I don't think Dan would be searching for "Dino Trains". But I know someone who had a little boy at the time....

Good catch!

The Defense's defence is to PUT LE on trial. Just like the OJ case, IMO. They TRY to make witness' look inept.

cross trying to say that CM didnt necessarily 'type' in intuit Books, it may have just been in the search dropbox from history, and he clicked on it.

And he is scolding the detective no not researching the search history.

We KNOW device 4 is an e-machine. Was it JM or CM's?
JM's according to the numbering they gave at the start.

IMO, he's grasping at straws.

OHHHH Snap, the witness had a good comeback, nullifying the defense argument...

OMG, this doesn't explain someone using the computers on the evening of the 4th and the early morning of the 8th!!!!! Drop down search, google search, bookmarks, it doesn't mean anything, urgh.

It's like a gaggle of starving baby geese waiting for food, and they are given a worm or two, to divide among themselves, then mama flies away until next wednesday...
