Didn't LE get the hospital records to verify this? And it was false?

When you get a stent, you receive a card to carry with you in case you have a medical emergency. CM would have had one if that had been the case.
When my neighbour had stents put in he wasn't allowed to drive for months afterwards, had to pass a medical first, but his job was driving so maybe that makes a difference.

Wow! It seems Joey kicked into high gear once he discovered all of this, and fast!

Imo, this time Joey had finally had enough! This time he planned to handle this immediately once and for all!! He had finally had his fill of CM!

I think Joey felt so enraged at how he had been so betrayed by CM. The very man who pretended to be his close friend making Joey believe CM really cared about him. The same man who already owed him 43k! This showed Joey all of it had been nothing more than an act!!

As I have mentioned early on, when easygoing people finally get to the point where they aren't going to take it anymore they can often stand their ground with the one they know who has long been taking advantage of them.

Then that normally easy laid back individual can become quite capable of standing up to their worst adversary.

Imo, I think Joey blasted CM in the meeting, and for the first time ever CM realized Joey wasn't going to rollover this time. CM knew his manipulation con game was over.

Do we know what the one minute text consisted of, Tortoise? Tia

Imo

I saw that JM played Soccer. I WONDER if CM was afraid of JM kicking him, being a soccer player and all and that's why his leg was broken?

CM did not owe MSM IMO From what the MSM staff testified about, it was always Joey that paid. It could be that CM owed Joey money from what Joey paid to MSM, but MSM never got payment from CM directly.

I'm thinking he made the MSM cheques so Carmen wouldn't keep trying to get in touch with Joey.

Plus writing a check to them for legitimate purposes wouldn't make his own check stand out like a sore thumb.

He was tying to cover all bases.

Imo

When exactly did Cathy and Chase break up? I am not convinced that she knew anything or it was this situation that caused their break-up... only because I have also read that they were still in contact, and it appears that it was an amicable break up, I wouldn't expect that if she suspected that he killed the McStay's, but that's just me... I would be running for the hills or LE.

‘Joseph’s family are the ones who lost the most from all this, no question. But financially I lost everything. I was manufacturing all the waterfalls he was selling and I lost my entire business. Without his sales, I had nothing. I went bankrupt very soon after he disappeared, It killed me financially. I even split up with the mother of my three kids because of the stress.'

I'm not certain Joey had time to tell Summer about the QB before he left that morning.

11.51 - 11.53 Joey calls the bank 2 mins
11.53 - 11.55 Joey calls Chase 2 mins
11.56 - 11.58 Joey signs into QB 2 mins
11.56 - 11.57 Joey texts Chase 1 min
12.15 - 12.22 Joey calls bank 7 mins - he is in Lake Elsinore 30 miles from home on I-15, that is 20 mins after called Chase. That is driving at 90 mph!

I don't see any calls to Summer after 11.51 and he was on calls for 11 minutes solid before he first called the bank at 11.51 - 11.53 and then presumably flew out the door.

I have driven from Elsinore to Corona thousands of times. I KNOW, from personal experience that there are "dead spots" for miles when you are going through the canyon from Elsinore to around Temescal Canyon area is where it clears up. I can't tell you how many times my cell phone "dropped/disconnected" and I had to call back whomever I was talking to, due to the mountains that run on the West/East side of the I-15.

I think it's against TOS to criticize other posters instead of discussing the case.

I love that you can give local perspective! BUT you keep commenting on "dead spots" LOL Which gives me pause when we have Chase's phone "not active" for hours at a time, which can mean off/airplane mode/or out of range (or dead spot)! Are there any casino's in these dead spots?LOL

I am guessing this is why the defense will bring up the drive test data from the cell companies.

Another wild imagination.

Fact: His leg was broken BEFORE he died. Why break it after? I might think it was to disable someone?

He was younger than CM. He was in better physical condition (playing soccer, you usually have to be in good shape,IMO) He might have been VERY upset with CM for being a thief? Yup, wild.

I would like to know more about this, but even searching I can't seem to find much other than what is stated in the Search Warrants. I also don't 'believe' everything in search warrants lol I think sometimes they also stretch the truth to get what they want JMO

That particular Dead Spot would be around 10-15 minutes only, in either direction.

Another thing about CM's physical capability... in his interview, he said that him and Joseph went "paintballing" about 6 weeks prior but Joey had to stop because he wasn't physically able to do it, but he kept playing soccer (personally... I think soccer is more physical than paintball... but I have never gone paintballing lol). But this means that CM was physically capable of paintballing??? I wanna know more about this heart condition now LOL

That's a big dead zone IMO. And you are talking more recently, right? 9 years ago, did they have as many towers? or were the towers they did have as good as 2019 technology?

I live in the prairies in Canada, Saskatchewan, lots of wide open spaces. We have dead zones and some area's have never improved, but most have over the years. The dead zones are usually a minute or two while travelling. It surprises me that populated area's like that have such large dead zones!

So?

I'm sure there are cases when an innocent person makes a statement that could have been taken to be a Freudian slip. My point is, CM making that statement and using past tense is not being inconsistent with being innocent.

I don't know.
If detectives were doing a formal interview with me, investigating the disappearance of my boss and his family, I don't think I would insist that I was definitely the last person to see him. JMO

I'm sure it is much better since then. I was talking about back in 2010, sorry.

There is a mountain range that runs from Fallbrook to Corona, which basically separates us from the coast, if you could throw a rock over it. Then there is mountain range on the east side of the I-15 from Elsinore to around Temescal Canyon. This is the area, around 10-15 miles that the phone would drop out.

But that doesn't mean everyone would say/do what you would say/do. Not all innocent people are alike. Not all criminals are alike.

I can take it. We all have our opinions ;)
