Right, but we're not talking about the custom account. The idea is Joey issuing a check off Contract, then deciding to have Chase issue it himself (in a brand new procedure created the day of the murders). We're talking about a cashed check from a stagnant (missing) series of check numbers. If you are saying they may have been using a dummy series for monitoring, they would not pick a series that preceded the current series because it was more than likely used in previous years. I may be mistaken, but I was under the impression that 4093 was created, deleted, then re-created and cashed. Was 4093 cashed after re-creation? I have yet to find a complete list of checks with check numbers anywhere.

The only account Chase is ever thought to have accessed is the CUSTOM account. So I don't know what you mean that we are not talking about that account.

Check # 4093 does not show up in any of the court records, cashed or otherwise. So my guess, it was never cashed. My guess is that it is never generated under that check #. Only the 4200 series checks were (I have to look it up but Chase's check # were 4237-4244 I think . This information is in the affidavits for the search warrants.

It was earlier in the am. One of the blog/website posters were talking about whether there would be a live stream of the trial, the date of their post was around 2014. Someone responded and stated the media company, w/o naming them, they thought THAT media co was going to film the trial. So, it may hyperbole, but if true, how can we find out which media co they are?

I searched my history and it ONLY shows the last 20 entries, sorry. :( I was doing a McStay family age rendering when i landed on that site. Your ? about Tweeting made me think about the media co securing the rights. Sorry about that. If i had known you were going to ask about media and the trial, i would have copied the link.

I do know that the top cheque sitting in Joey's office was #4245 and the two cheques given to Metro were #4236 and #4238. For some reason those two cheques were obviously not printed in sequence. Maybe he spilled coffee on #4237.
So, if Joey was sitting at home, creating a check for Chase out of the contract account on the evening of the 4th, it would not have been number 4093. It would have been 4245. And yet, the number 4093 was created and deleted on his computer, then re-created on Chase's computer and cashed the following day. Is this correct? If so, this directly links Chase to the McStay house, because the stock in the 4000 series existed and was used in a dry run by Chase at the McStay house, followed by the real thing from his house.

I seriously need a list with check numbers on it. Could someone please direct me to a location for such a list? No check numbers are listed on the comprehensive timeline and I feel like I'm wasting everyone's time trying to get this clarified.

Okay, JM clarified that 4093 was never cashed on a separate post. Please disregard.

pretty sure this is not what you saw earlier, but this has some information... note that it says filming... sounds like he is there filming the whole trial and was in pretrial hearings as well.

Maybe he secured the rights back in 2014? That is the date the poster posted, I DO remember that. It was around the time CM was arrested.

could be, I was just curious as to who's rights he secured... Merritt's or McStay's or both :) I can't find that though.

Sorry I can't help with clarification on this. I don't know if 4093 was a real cheque number or not. I'm waiting until we get testimony on it.

I am going to have to go back and watch the little bit of testimony we got so far today.. but I think this QB's guy has clarified that Joey did indeed have 2 separate accounts, each had their own email, each had their own subscription (I think, feed kept going out during that part)

This trial reminds me of searching for a person/evidence: One step at a time, making sure they don't miss anything. This case is a National Headlining Case, so I can see where SBCO don't want to look like imbeciles. Truthfully, the State gets 1 shot at CM as well. WE may not like the progress of their delays, but they MUST have a reason for them, IMO. At a snails pace for us, unfortunately.

I can handle the painstakingly boring testimony that we have to listen to sometimes, laying foundation for other evidence, etc. But these breaks are just ridiculous IMO And they would be welcomed breaks if they could ever go for longer than 45 minutes, but that hasn't been the case here. If I was a juror, I would be more than annoyed! I'm not sure how National it is? Other than local news outlets, is the national media reporting on this?

No tweets, no live feed, it's gone to pot today. This is crazy.

It's hard to believe that local media isn't covering it. I guess everyone is relying on the livefeed? And when the livefeed goes to poo... then what? LOL No reporter sitting there to report what is going on.

You would think with as much time as they have off that when they are on for the day they would try and get though as much as possible, no?

It was in 2010. I would assume the atty's are "arguing" over which witness testifies next and what they would say? You would think the Judge would have been in control, prior to them testifying? Just a guess tho.

I think cricket said there were reporters in the court room when they were there.
