Rewatching one of his CNN Interviews: CM actually said that he "went into the house for less than 3 minutes," I wonder why?

Ohhhh, they actually showed footage of the "Parking Mall" and there is 0 evidence of the MC's leaving that parking lot !!!!

I have NEVER heard or seen that on that day the MC's were NOT shown on camera leaving THAT Shopping Mall !!

Stay tuned people, we have YET to hear what the Pros has gathered in this case. Oh MY !!!!
That whole theory of the Mcstay's going into Tijuana was SO stupid. Wasn't the woman in the video wearing UGG boots? Weren't SM's UGG boots left at home, back in Fallbrook? Jeeeeezzzzz.

hmm yep, those are the cheque's already gone through the bank. I'm curious about how they were printed to begin with. Doing a bit of research, they can be ordered specifically for Quickbooks, but also notice that there is a "word template" that can be used as well... it only stood out to me because that was one of the sites that was in the "search history" that was later accessed on the 8th.

I remember you posting about missing cheques, and a chunk of them missing from a stack in Joey's office? Just wondering which cheques... the cheque book one's or the QB one's and were they blank? and did we see a pic? (I'm thinking we haven't)

I think I can answer your question: The typed checks that we have seen are pre-printed checks which show EIP info, and the bank info (routing number & account number). When you create the QB check, the only info printed to the check is the recipient (Chase) and the amount. One only needs to get their hands on the checks, then either hand write the recipient name and amount, use a typewriter, or print with a QB format. The checks are ordered and formatted to QB specifications. One of the exhibits show the check info, but the caption says print set up, and shows the format dimensions. There was also a search for microsoft office templates. It would appear that the person attempting to print checks ran into difficulty with the print format, and looked for a check template on ms office.
imo.

I think in the beginning everyone didn't think it was Joey, more in question was Summer and the kids.

They sure could have used Dr. Rudin back then to give them the heights of them  Was the first thing I thought when we heard what he can do in that motion, when he was explaining what he does! lol

We don't know about any DNA in the graves, other than the 3 that the defense mentioned in the OS, is that what you mean? Not sure anyone has said it couldn't have gotten there from touch DNA... I sure know I haven't :)

So what about the Trooper then. Is the defense incorrect in saying that is touch DNA, from Joey shaking Chses's hand after lunch?

Thanks! I'm curious to know if any more were found in Joey's office? And what numbers they were. If Joey printed the cheques himself, using a Word template, he may have only printed so many at a time.

The search for the microsoft office templates was clicked on, on the 8th, however... I think it was from "search history", will have to wait to see some testimony from the experts. I don't believe it was something that someone physically typed in. JMO

The defense is saying it's transfer DNA. I think it's absolutely possible it's transfer DNA because of where it was vs where it wasn't. We will have to wait for the experts to tell us quantities, what is normal, not normal in transfer DNA :)

LOL! I have a few for around the ranch, the ones with tread, for doing chores and feeding. They last a REAL long time, for me 1 pair averages 1 1/2 years before they become doggy chew toys.

Could be. But if they were able to find the 3 or so that he did in the 2 months afterwards, why wouldn't he have taken money out at their ATM before then? Or at least see that large cash withdrawals from somewhere and cell pings showed he was there. They may have that I guess, but no indication so far.

On a side note... our bank gives us back the fee the ATM charges, so it's never a concern for me or us ;-)

Good question. Why didn't he do so before Joey went missing? Why did he do so right after? Maybe he had a new wad of cash in his bank account to gamble with, that he didnt have previously?

So why do you say you don't think the unexplained DNA in the graves is touch DNA? It is a possibility in the Trooper but not in the graves?

There were checks missing from Joey's office. It's easy to print a check. The hardest part is to figure out which directions to place the checks in the printer. I don't know why anyone would need an ms office template when using QB's, yet the search history shows that. Evidently, the print issues, if there were any, were resolved as evidenced by the printed checks deposited or cashed by Chase. I don't remember who testified to the missing check's, but someone did.

Looking back at the post, I think both I and @Funky funky misspoke LOL I replied to their post that said touch DNA, and I said touch DNA, but I meant transfer, and I'm assuming Funky did as well (we knew what we meant haha) But I will let funky clear that up for themselves :)

They would need the template if that was the way they chose to do the cheques, and not order them. Apparently you can buy cheque stock paper, like business cards, etc. and use word to print out cheques, from there, you can use QB's to fill in the cheque.

From what I could find in QB's, I don't think you could just print a cheque without having the pre-made blank cheque, with account number, business name, etc. But maybe it can be done.

I have no idea who testified to missing cheques either, possibly Dugal? I know I have read posts referencing it, but didn't know if it was in testimony yet or not.

The "DNA from the graves" was proffered in the defense's OS. Opening statements AREN'T TESTIMONY OR EVIDENCE. Some of it is just to sway or inflame the jury before witnesses even hit the stand or evidence is offered. Many of us have seen or experienced it.
The defense claimed they'd have the DNA results by the end of the week, if I recall*someone correct me if I'm wrong*. If anything HAD been found, they would have had to disclose the results to the prosecution. Th defense made this statement on 1/7...................and it's now 2/18. DNA analysis can take as little as 24 hours with a match to DNA related to the case, 14 days if it's run through all conceivable data bases to get an ID.

Another "rabbit hole" in my opinion.

Wasn't there a picture in evidence during testimony that was a chair, in the office, with blank checks/check stock on it?

Then how does CNN have video of the day in question? Is this smoke and mirrors by CNN?

CNN has video of the day in question?

There is no check template in Microsoft templates that would match to Quickbooks. Two entirely different programs. Microsoft templates would more likely be for invoices.

Yep, I found it!!! It was in Denys Williams testimony, didn't note the time, but it had placard 16 lol I saw the photo, but not the cheque numbers :( I actually don't think I saw that testimony... I wonder where the box of cheques was before they took the photo? It wasn't in any of the other office photo's. Looking in Dugal's testimony (just skimming looking for the photo again to see if he says anything), wasn't able to find it.

ahh you could be right! I found that he had a box of cheques though ;-) If they had taken a better photo, I might be able to see the cheque numbers LOL

Or, if he was on a losing streak, at least he have some cash to give to CJ towards the rent. He may have written so many bad checks on his own acct., that the landlord wouldn't accept any more.
