But he only has natural graying around his nape and temples. The remainder looks dyed to me, though. How does one do that in jail?

In jail, no. However, Defense Attorneys can arrange this at the court holding cells.

I was very active on the old CourtTV boards. I don't recall Chase being there, but Mikey definitely was, I believe his wife was at one time and even Gina Watson. JMO because no way to prove it now lol
Oh my goodness! Tons of insiders and family on those boards! Turned into a soap opera. So sad for the family. It got really ugly.

Back in the day there was talk of a possible safe in the house. Never proven. Not cyber savvy. Have no clue why this is bolded. Never mind. Just figured it out.
:D:D:D I love these kinda posts in the middle of a thread LOL It was like katy's strikethrough a few threads ago.:D:D

Speaking from experience. Do you know how they get inmates to stand in a line-up? They offer them a candy bar and I AM NOT joking! Again, time out of their cell.

Part of the whole personality. Large and in charge. Much smarter than anyone else. Manipulative. MOO

Yep, and I'd like to see another case where a totally innocent man was more than willing to give up years of their freedom when they had a constitutional right to opt for a speedy trial instead?

Imo

This was way later as I recall.

I think you are right. From that article that I posted...

He was initially represented by a Victorville attorney, then decided he wanted to represent himself to speed up the progress in the case. Merritt retained the Mattias firm May 20.

Wouldn't work for me. Deluxe nachos.

Do you know if there was any crime in the neighborhood at that time that Ms. Mitchelly might have been concerned about?

Mitchely said the neighborhood was safe. That her system was to monitor her teenagers.

It's unfortunate that it was all lost. Mikey had posted info that is no where near the truth now ... and some of it just doesn't make any sense to me in hindsight and hearing what we are hearing, but it's all from memory, so it's 'whatever' info now LOL

Seriously? Who knew?

CM gets "dressed" in his court cell, NOT in jail. His Atty's Make Sure he is presented as they want him to be presented to the jury. I've seen this 1000's of times. The Deputies (Bailiff) in the "court" are there to simply keep security and can NOT interfere between client vs Atty.

From what I have read, he didn't want to waive his right to a speedy trial... more than once... which resulted in Mettias asking to be dismissed.... am I misunderstanding your post?

This is a great explanation! Thanks!

Although I agree that it's absurd to "act like jurors", I don't think it's absurd to listen to the evidence and discuss that evidence, and then maybe adjust our opinions accordingly. IMO it's absurd to me that some can't or won't even acknowledge that some of the "evidence" has changed. And the actual trial evidence is getting lost in theories IMO

I think it's hard when you actually care that the right person is convicted and that there is real justice to just be entertained by all this. Real people are impacted by these cases on so many levels. Evidence, actual hard facts, are all we have to guide us. Evidence matters. I just have a hard time seeing this only as a form of entertainment.

Absolutely! I always feel that the families of the victims are entitled to justice, but they are also entitled to the truth and entitled to have the right person convicted, without doubts. This is a personal opinion, but it's also an opinion based on experience and having a family member said to be brutally murdered.
