Cathy russon's tweets possibly?

Are there pictures located on WS about what was retrieved from the graves? The bloody "pieces" of a bath mat(s) picture shocked me because I don't remember hearing about them during testimony. Maybe they haven't introduced it yet? Maybe it was a doctored photo, I don't know?

If anyone can find them, it would be the WS's.

Not yet at least. IIRC, one of the LE team was displaying two "pieces" of a bath mat(s) that had blood on them for the picture. It shocked me because I didn't remember seeing this during the testimony about what they found in the graves. Maybe they haven't presented it yet?

I've been watching pretty closely and I don't recall any discovery proven to be blood, at all. Are you sure the towel or map wasn't just dirty?

Good find. Iirc Merritt told detectives he didn't have a tv. It's either in the warrants or the prelim. There was also something he said that led me to believe they weren't living together, which is peculiar. He did pay for something at blockbuster but on the 12th and 15th, not the 4th. Joseph surely didn't call him then.

Something to note, he went to Olive Garden the 10th, spent $94. Most likely took the whole family out (we recently did the same thing for a seating of 7 with an $80 tab). So, if Chase is late in paying rent as he told detectives, why is he spending lavishly? How is it CJ is not questioning this???

Hey... since you are here haha Do you know where CJ worked at the time? I went looking this morning, and I can't seem to find anything.

I wasn't showing the screenshot to show that it was on the 4th, more to show obviously he was watching movies somewhere, somehow ;-)

I'm still wondering if "not having TV" meant literally, or meaning that they didn't have cable TV.

I screen shot all the evidence during the testimony given on the graves, and there were items damaged by decomp and possibly just dirt. That would have stood out, I think.

OHHH< yes, good thinking. Once the bodies were found, the McStay ATM is shut down for good.
The accounts were locked down in June or July 2010 I think. The house was in foreclosure in August. That's the time it went off the rails between CM and CJ as well.

You are right, sorry. But @Edmo may be looking for a pic that Cathy tweeted, she was tweeting many in those first few weeks.

She has almost 12k pics on Twitter.

I will go back to testimony and see if I can find it. I don't recall a "bloody" mat though either, but I do recall the mat being mentioned.

I think she was just doing general housecleaning.

Yep

I don't see how you can mistakenly think you watched a movie on a TV you don't have.

He was definitely lying and being deceptive with the whole "phone a girlfriend" ruse

Chase had a television set, it was whether he had cable that was in dispute.

The picture I saw was 2 pieces of a mat(s). They were white and SOAKED in blood on parts of them. I believe they had been cut into pieces. I'm kicking myself now for not d/l the picture.

Is there anyway to access what we had on the old WS platform 5+ years ago? I could have sworn someone translated the LE interview with CM. I KNOW I posted screen shots of the tire markings at the grave sites with markings I put on them showing direction of travel, weather conditions for the 4th of February 2010. Pics of traffic tickets with CM as the defendant driving a Ford Ranger, CM's different places of residence,........
I believe we even had video from a casino camera with CM in it?

Where is all the old threads?

This is I believe the 'bloody' mat or towel. I'm leaning more towards a towel material. They never stated it was blood but could be. It also looks to be the same coloration as the supposed bleached pants. Just a thought.

I would say Chase would say he was secretly gambling on the night of the 4th hence why he lied as he didn’t want CJ to know that’s the most logical lie. But unfortunately for him he used CJ as a alibi so that won’t work.

He could of also of said Joey paid him in cash at Lunch so no paper trial of him gambling that night either as all done with cash.

I wonder why he didn’t think of something so simple as a excuse?

To me, what matters is he made 2 calls to Joseph on February 5. And never again.
Bingo. Then telling MSM that he'd been trying to get hold of JM "all weekend" when that isn't true either. This was his "best friend". Didn't try to call him even once a day before they were reported missing? Didn't try to see if his missing friend had charged his phone, or had coverage wherever he had went? Didn't leave a note on the door, that he'd stopped by? Didn't do anything like that. If you didn't know for sure your friend had gone anywhere (since they were besties and talked so many times a day), why wouldn't you continue calling? Chase, in the months before the murders, called multiple times a day. The fact he didn't when NO ONE knew they were even "missing" at that point cannot be called a coincidence.

@Edmo I have looked at CSI specialist Heatherly Radeleff's testimony quickly, and I don't see a bath mat (lots of towels but no fuzzy bath mat) She processed the gravesites, so maybe I missed it?

OH... was it this? (attachment) it's at 1:02 of the video. I thought it was maybe the bath mat, but she says '2 pieces of torn white towel'

ETA: it's at 50:15 of the video I posted, she does also call this a "torn towel"
