Listening to the dang police interview again.

Day 10, Part 3 at about 1:10 to 1:14mark. They are discussing Joey's banking/credit cards.

CM is asked if he had access to Joey CC? CM answers, "No", states Joey would just write the CC number down for him to use and he would buy lights, etc. (NEVER MENTIONS HE WAS GIVEN ACCESS TO QB)

CM is asked if Joey has a Union Bank account. He answers: "no question about that because all his checks to me were from Union Bank". (NEVER MENTIONS HE WAS GIVEN PERMISSION TO WRITE HIMSELF CHECKS)

Here is my ? about having the numbers: Even in 2010, you needed the CC #'s AND the security code #'s on the back of a card, as well as the expiration date to purchase anything over the phone/online etc. To me, this is CM trying to "cover" his tracks, once again in his life.

Remember the days when DNA was proof of an individual touching something, physically being somewhere, physically interacting with someone or something?
Yeah, good times........be careful who you shake hands with..........said no forensic expert I've ever heard say on the stand.

Ah I know....and some defenders of Chase seem to want to have it both ways. I.E, that it was touch DNA on the trooper but not touch DNA in the graves.

I wonder if that "link" was QB's? or something else? I can't recall what was available back in 2010, was google doc's a thing? LOL

And why could CM be charging on Joey's CC for fountain supplies. Per CM's own words, his cut was 65% and Joey's was 35%. CM was responsible for paying out for supplies such as steel, etc. He said it himself. He said the lower his production costs, the higher his profit margin.

Another thing.....I thought they were going with the angle that Joey was changing out the QB in order to hide? from DK? Am I understanding it correctly that his defense is Joey told him to swap QB because of DK? He says in this interview the reason he tried to swap QB out was because Joey wanted to hide the money from SUMMER because she had a spending problem.

I know this is such a tiny aspect of this case, but it all adds up and is very fishy.

We don't know about any DNA in the graves, other than the 3 that the defense mentioned in the OS, is that what you mean? Not sure anyone has said it couldn't have gotten there from touch DNA... I sure know I haven't

Yes, he says he called QB "3-4 days after the 4th" for the purpose of switching out QB to hide from Summer I will try and find out where he says this.

I can still see this though if the Custom account was only used for the stuff between Joey and Chase. There is no way that I can see her being okay with the way they did things. Not if she didn't like Chase!

BUT, I just finished listening to Hanke's testimony, the defense is definitely going with the "hiding from DK" thing, McGee asks a bunch of questions about the timing of the change in Custom account and the change in DK/Joey business relationship, that he finally got "rid of DK". Chase seemed to know a bit about the DK situation, but I don't think he knew it all? He also thought that DK had always lived in Hawaii

Sorry, I should have given the time/link. It's at about 56:30, during the time they were discussing the totals, who owed who, etc. He also says that Dan has it or can get into it, something like that.

OK, Day 10 Part 3 at the 1:00 mark, they start talking about QB. This is where he starts talking about Summer not knowing how much Joey makes, and her biggest problem is credit cards and that she spends a lot of money at Ross. He says it had become a "big thing" with not letting Summer know how much Joey is making.

It doesn't make any sense that a switch from Online to Desktop would hide anything from Summer. Living in the same house she could access Desktop just as easily as she could access Online.

He hadn't got his story quite worked out back in 2010 when the detectives visited.

Seems these defense attorneys know more about what Joey intended than Chase did!

Yes, that’s what I meant. I wasn’t referring to anyone specifically. I read a lot about touch DNA during the Jon Benet case. I agree it can happen. There are so many coincidences in this case though that sometimes one must just call a spade a spade, lol. IMO.

Yes, from appearance right now, it doesn't look good, and I don't know they are going to explain it, but I'm curious to see what else comes out. Some of the questions that they ask, even of Hanke, leads me to believe we will hear much more.

One thing that I did catch in the cross examination testimony was that Hanke himself points out that his report on the QB's only covers Feb 1st on. Towards the end of his cross exam, he is asked if it was the first time he had used QB's in an investigation and he says yes. He uses it at home though (and gets a laugh when asked what his level of QB's would be... he said he hasn't been audited yet ) So, I get that QB's is pretty straight forward... but I wonder if we have some posters here that have more knowledge than he does about QB's? Actually, I am pretty sure we do LOL

What I'm not clear about right now is if the Desktop version was intended for Chase to use, or for Joey to use the Custom Account. If that's what the defense is going with. Where was the Desktop version being downloaded to? Chase's computer or Joey's?

In the arrest "Press Conference" of CM, the Inv SAID they have "evidence" that put CM at/in the grave sites. Whether they meant the phone "pings," or DNA, is yet to be seen in court, IMO.

The 4200 series of cheques... were these blank cheques? To be put through the printer when printing the cheques.

To be clear... did they already have the EIP info, the cheque #, the account #, or was this info also printed when printing the cheque?

And if they are blank cheques... do we have pics of them?

IMO, the Pros is covering the "basics" rn about CM's greed, the backdated cheques/deposit etc. They have miles to go to incorporate his background in total, but I believe they will prove what type of person CM acutally is.
