If they didn't find DNA from the home, that shoots Inv Fisher's statement out the window, IMO.
This is why I have been cautioning you lol I really didn't think they had, the Pro's would have been saying it, and they haven't.

#McStay - DNA found in family's Trooper. Gear shift, 4-wheel drive lever, radio controls, heater and A/C controls. Joseph McStay was assumed to be major contributor. Trace contributor was assumed to be Summer McStay. 3rd TRACE contributor, Merritt included as possible source

I DO find it interesting that CM's DNA is found on the "4 wheel drive lever." The weekend of the murders was torrential rain in So Cal. Is it the Trooper's "wheel tracks" that are the 2nd tracks present at the gravesites? THAT is my ????

I don't know about you all... but those seem like pretty low numbers? I am used to seeing 1 in millions, not 1 in thousands? Anyone have thoughts?

I could be wrong, but I don't think the tire tracks matched the Trooper either.

These are pretty low amounts, I just posted about it lol But will wait to see more testimony, he was only a POSSIBLE TRACE contributor. I *think* he just talked about the mode (touch, transfer) of how it got there but I was reloading at the time :(

No, it was in millions, IIRC.

Oh and @Edmo ... because they took collective swabs, we actually don't know where the trace dna was found... gear shift, 4-wheel drive lever, radio controls, heater and/or A/C controls.

I rewound... pretty sure it was 1000's? Maybe the steering wheel one was millions? (I missed it cuz of the stream)

Stream is unbearable in the afternoon.

I heard DNA results in the thousands as well. I think his point was he couldn't make any kind of definitive answer and the best guess was those numbers you heard. I don't think he pinned those numbers on CM or anyone.

I'm guessing more people on later in the day? I am trying not to complain today, it's been better than last week LOL ALWAYS happens when I'm actually listening and want to hear an answer!!!!!

For the gear shift, etc swab, CM was a possible trace contributor.

Direct is done. We are on afternoon break, will see if I can go back and listen to the info about the steering wheel :)
