sometimes it's that LAST $20 that you win on...

Seriously. If you don't frequent a casino, or know people that do, it's hard to understand. lol

I live in a place that there is not much for "entertainment" ... unfortunately, the casino is one of the only sources around here LOL

You are talking about 20 bucks. he was gambling with hundreds if not thousands at a time.

And there is plenty to do in Southern Cali besides going to the casinos. He had young kids. He could have spent 7 hours with them, and spend cash on them instead. JMO

That is ridiculous.....

So now we will just get a verdict in some months and maybe a few court reports if we are lucky

What other possible reason could a family of 4 murdered and buried in shallow graves, including 2 toddlers, be MORE important? THIS case is/was a Nation Wide case, why in the world would L&C pull out NOW???

Maybe more people would watch if the stream worked and had proper audio

The defence can't say this

Chase has to testify to it. Or possibly an expert witness

If the defense could have found any mental defect they would have ran with it. Admitting he is a gambling addict will not help him in the least imo.

We have seen other trials where the defense tried to use addiction as an excuse for murder. They go over like a lead ballon because the judicial standard to be sane and competent to stand trual is did the defendant know right from wrong at the time they committed the murders, and can assist their attorneys during all phases of the murder case.

Its proof positive he did know it was wrong. He just didn't care.

That is a given, and why he went to such extensive measures to cover up these murders and trying to fool others by discarding the Trooper at the border.

If convicted, I imagine the DT will call a mental health expert to talk about his gambling addiction hoping it will mitigate his sentence.

If convicted, I believe at the end of the trial the jury will have such disdain for the defendant that they will have no sympathy for any excuses the DT may offer.

I have just asked for clarification in L&C... sounds like it's just for next week and maybe the next. How dumb LOL now we are going to have "missing testimony"

Maybe it was too embarrassing to the state of California

I wonder if Law and Crime has even considered that had their live stream been more dependable during the McStay Family murder trial.....more people would be watching it??

There is another trial they want to cover. They think it's not a big deal to leave for a week or 2...

Who else does livestreaming, what about Wild About Trial would they cover that court location if asked?

I'll say this: I will NEVER pay for ANY subscription to L&C, EVER ! To me, Florida gets the "best" court coverage and California gets sub-standard coverage. I'll leave it at that. WHAT A BUNCH of idiots running L&C, IMO. Peace out.
