So we won’t have live feed for two weeks?

At the rate they are going at though even though it should be 8 days of testimony we will miss it will probably be a lot less.

going to have to watch all this testimony later... I'm so annoyed with L&C. Took me forever to catch up... then to find out we won't have coverage so they can follow another trial. *sigh*

but of course it's getting into the cell records... maybe even more banking... and we will miss it all. They say cathy will be tweeting, but still...

Yes that’s what we was told at the beginning of the trial.

But I still don’t understand why this judge makes appointments on days when he should be working. That’s just taking the pee!!!
I know! My husband retired 3 years ago and still goes to work 2-3 days a week (which I love). But his attitude is very different. All the pressure is off. Just the joy of doing what they love without all the pressure. This is where I see the judge in this case. He's happy doing what he loves. All the time in the world! Should he be presiding over a murder trial? Maybe not. But he does have good credentials.

"m breaking the news to you now. We will not be live in McStay next week and possibly the week after. We will go back at some point but pulling our equipment so we can do another trial.

Sorry, we can't keep our equipment at a trial that is rarely in session, takes forever with witnesses and getting low viewership when we can use it at a trial that will be high profile. We will return

WTF.

The tweets have been too sparse so far. I hope she picks up the pace.

Based on what I picked up in L&C chat, they will at the very least return for closing arguments and verdict in McStay.

Don't depend on it, she is posting in L&C chat now. There hasn't been any recent Twitter reporting from Cathy Russon. I've tweeted her for details, will post here IF she responds.

I get it as far as canceling the live coverage. A. its gonna take over a year at the rate its going. B. I foresee an acquittal or mistrial. C. Its kind of falling apart like the Mueller investigation.

Right, and part of the justification is that "no one else will do it" ... well, duh... why would they when they can watch it being streamed LOL I would like to see a local station pick it up for a week or two. So we have a prosecutor using "but their expert can watch it on youtube later" in a friggen legal argument, then that same company streaming it says "there is low viewership so we are gonna leave for a week or two"..... makes no sense to me, I'm beyond annoyed.

And for a trial out of Florida? Because no local media would be interested in that, right? Part of wanting to watch this trial was because we have no access to any information other than what we hear... it's the only way we can find it.

I love how the tweet says “ we will go back at some point” so doesn’t sound promising.

I guess with all the stopping and starting it’s a highly frustrating case and they can get more mileage on another case.

We are going to miss all the pro's cell phone testimony :(

sometimes it's that LAST $20 that you win on...

Seriously. If you don't frequent a casino, or know people that do, it's hard to understand. lol

I live in a place that there is not much for "entertainment" ... unfortunately, the casino is one of the only sources around here LOL

I think what some people fail to realise about gambling addicts is that it’s not always about the winning. It’s the buzz of placing the bet. I work closely with a gambling addict, he could be up thousands one day and not have the money for lunch the next. He doesn’t stop because he has won, he keeps going and going. A lot of gambling addicts are the same. A regular gambler is happy with a win and then stops or stops when their allocated funds are gone. An addict can’t do that IMO
