Circumstances of Disappearance: Missing person last seen on 2/8/77 by a friend (the reporting party) he was staying with in Mountain View. He had advised the reporting party he was going to go to a job interview at an unknown company and was never seen/heard from after.

The location was a major serial killer hunting ground at that time, plus the job interview screams Gacy to me. He did work partially out of California and the time frame fits...any idea if he has been ruled out as one of the remaining Gacy does? Just a thought.

Was he interested on a specific area of expertise?
What kind of jobs did he have before?
I agree that the job interview appeal has been used by several serial killers to get victims, but we can't exclude an accident or other type of foul play (for instance, if he hitchhiked to get to the interview); we don't know if he was driving his own vehicle of if he used other type of transportation... In fact, we don't even know if the interview was in Mountain View, at a walking distance or if it was in another area...
