But the mother of Joseph Lara told Eyewitness News and posted on Facebook that the body belongs to her son.

So very sad. I have to say, the fact that the body was burned before it was buried really makes me believe maybe there was more to his death than an overdose.

Holy moly!!! Who burns a body these days? It takes a long time of an extremely high heat fire to destroy a body. (Like they did in the Grinstead case.) If burned correctly, there’d be little to nothing to bury. I cannot imagine. This dude sounds like an idiot. Can you EVEN imagine finding a human toe in your backyard?! I. Would. Freak!!! JMO

Considering the fact that an intact body would actually help prove that the individual died of an overdose, why would one need to burn a body before hiding it?

Coupled with the fact that Williams is on the run, I feel more confident in the theory that this was more than an OD and some rookies who panicked.

This part is interesting to me: "The new documents also allege Morrison acted as an accessory by helping her boyfriend flee from Bakersfield. She also allegedly told a witness she cleaned up the crime scene, according to the documents."

Could mean many things.
