The Rancho San Diego Sheriff's Station wants your help in locating a missing six-year-old girl from Spring Valley.

On Tuesday, February 22 around 1:15 p.m., Joylin Gutierrez (seen in the above photo) was taken from Kempton Elementary School located in the 700 block of Kempton Street in Spring Valley.

Joylin is believed to be with her biological, non-custodial parent, 45-year-old Wendy Gutierrez (seen above).

They were last seen around 4:00 p.m. in the area near East Plaza Boulevard and South Harbison Avenue in National City.

Joylin Gutierrez is a Hispanic girl standing 3' tall with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink or purple sweater.

Wendy Gutierrez is a Hispanic woman standing 5'4" tall, weighing 120 pounds with bright blue hair and brown eyes.

Authorities Friday announced a $1,000 reward to help locate a woman suspected of kidnapping her daughter from a Spring Valley school and possibly crossing into Mexico with her.

On Wednesday, Seiver said investigators interviewed a witness who’d crossed the U.S.-Mexico border Tuesday and described a young girl and an older woman fitting Jolyn and Wendy’s descriptions traveling into Tijuana on foot.

Investigators say Wendy Gutierrez now is wanted on suspicion of kidnapping Jolyn. The sheriff’s Homicide Unit is investigating.

Mexican authorities handed over a woman who kidnapped a girl in Spring Valley

Mexican authorities delivered this Thursday to the Marshall Service, a woman who had kidnapped a girl in Spring Valley and crossed the border with the minor.

Mexican authorities arrested a San Diego woman who allegedly kidnapped her daughter in Spring Valley and fled to Mexico.

Wendy Gutierrez is booked into Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Center in Santee, the women's jail, on felony charges of kidnapping and kidnapping a child.

San Diego County Sheriff's Homicide Detectives coordinated with the County Child Welfare Services, who reunited Jolyn Gutierrez with her maternal grandparents.
