This one is particularly perplexing. How many men that large could possibly be missing? He was big enough for two NAMUS listings.

I really thought this case would have been resolved by now. Like others have said, he’s probably from outside the US.

I don't think he floated in from Cuba wearing New Balance sneakers.

the lack of hair on the lower legs and ankles is interesting. not quite sure what to make of it though.

He could if visiting relatives from USA/Canada/elsewhere gave them to him! Or possibly got them on the black market in Cuba. Curious to know the year of the shoes (if known).

I wonder if the lack of hair on the lower legs and ankles, and that he was wearing socks and shoes were connected, as there are health problems that can cause hair loss on the lower legs, and cold and/or foot problems, for example peripheral artery disease (PAD). If the estimated age is correct, he might have been a bit younger than expected to suffer from that, but his size could have been a factor.

Actually, I wear shoes here in Tampa or my feet would get badly cut by barnacles and oysters.

Had to get stitches in my knee from banging it on a rock one day.

Found this new MP entry in NamUs interesting due to the physical description and especially his weight to be about 350 lbs. However, the height estimate is extremely off.

Red/Auburn hair, fair complexion, freckles and brown eyes would all be the same.

Anthony Michael Dwyer DLC was July of 1989. His family indicated he may have gone to Florida. If he was estranged from his family for 20 years, maybe a possibility.

At the time, family indicated that Anthony Michael Dwyer may have gone to Florida and maybe working in Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, or Miami Beach area as a pizza maker, cook, or pizza shop manager. Anthony M. Dwyer was reported to be 5'10'' tall, 350 pounds, fair complexion, freckles, brown eyes, red hair, wearing high top white and black tennis shoes, grey sweatsuit with a white stripe.”
