Sorry I can't get multi quote to work. Regarding weed causing panic attacks; this was way more than a panic attack. She talked about being scared for her own safety, "devils lettuce" when SM tried to get her to eat. She also said she was afraid SM was going to kill her. Her boyfriend also said he thinks it was not just MJ--and that she was afraid of the music etc. (All of that is in the link I posted.)

See that is the thing that bothers me. Who else in such a small subdivision would be walking around hwy 6 at 6:30 am that fits KG description?

I think in that area it would be really easy to fall, get hurt and never be found. Or take a very long time to be found. It was also fairly cold and she had no water. It doesn't look like an easy area to search. I mean look how far small children wander when lost. So just imagine how far a young girl could walk.

IMO the simplest answer is usually correct.
I think it might’ve been MDMA/Esctasy/Molly or the MJ was laced with it.
I’m speaking from personal experience when I say that I’ve done Molly with a group of friends and had an awful trip. We went to a party and the music was so loud...I was so scared and uncomfortable by the amount of people there/surrounding me that I had a panic attack and had to leave. This is MOO.

One time, I ate a pot brownie that I was unaware was laced with LSD. I was lucky that my reaction was just nonstop laughing and seeing things fly through the air. I was furious when I found out. It would be easy to have a bad trip if the pot was laced. It took a good 12 hours to wear off with me. That could explain her actions. This is MOO.

We knew she was in counseling at school for weed. Have we heard she was receiving any other professional help? Any meds? Anything she could have taken or been given before she left home earlier? Seems other kids smoking were fine. She is also very light for 5'7". The multiple stories don't jive with what the boyfriend has stated, imo.

Where have you read what the boyfriend has stated? I’m curious and would love to read it for myself. TYIA.

Zac believes Karlie ingested something stronger than marijuana. “It could’ve been laced with something else,” he said.

Karlie’s boyfriend insists marijuana was the culprit. “She hadn’t smoked in a while,” he said. “It could’ve triggered something.”
Search continues for California teen Karlie Gusé
Lord knows why she mentions devils lettuce- she could believe whomever gave it to her is the devil? 8 minutes without context and 16 different stories about that night don't give me confidence in anything SM says

I agree about SM but some of this was on the 8 min audio recording of KG that the SM made

8 minutes is just very little, without video, taking one person's word for context. That person is one who cannot seem to get her story straight, imo.

I am sorry and no doubt missing info here but

was there actually a full search of bd and sm's house, their vehicles
why wasn't anyone allowed to help with the search, most unusual
are there still searches going on or have they given up
i might be wrong but there doesn't seem to be a continual outcry from family or friends to keep this forefront in the news

my apologies if this have already been answered

Private groups are searching regularly. Not sure about the searches of the family home. There is A LOT of anger being expressed on the law enforcement FB page about lack of action. I also had seen SM had her car in the shop or detailed within days after Karlie went missing, so definitely not searched (this was on a FB group to find her that I think is backed by BM. In this case there seems to be two sides, two Gofundmes, two official sites, etc. so not sure if BM one is ok info with TOS or only the SMs would be if made public again. If not, I will delete mods).

There is a vigil tomorrow.
Bring Karlie Home

FWIW a person can be in denial, be self centered or have a poor memory - it doesn't make them a killer. Mom seems genuine enough to me, though she hedges when pressed about Karlie's drug use (normal IMO as parents fear this keeps people from searching).

Volunteer searchers are typically not LE's first choice due to their inexperience. If the FBI is involved, this answers the question why search parties were "not allowed", as they have it covered. The area around Karlie's LNL is also almost entirely private property or vast desert, which cannot be searched without protocol.

My personal belief is she will be found close to her home, where she wandered off in the grip of an LSD trip, dead from exposure. Marijuana has nothing to do with this - JMO. Here is one map showing just how challenging this search can be. If foul play did befall her, that challenge is tripled by layers of sand and clay.

I totally agree. For the last few weeks I have really felt that she had a bad trip and wondered way too far from home. Having seen google earth maps of this area; it could be almost impossible to find her if she walked very far.

So much precious time was lost with the first fake stories. I do hold SM and dad responsible for that part. It would never occur to me to lie if I was trying to find my missing daughter.

Sounds like you got sold a research chemical and not molly

Agreed re: probably bad LSD or “research chemical” or even Spice (“K2”) trip that lead to wandering off and succumbing to the elements. Possible injury thrown into the mix. Those drugs have powerful effects on young minds. I am NOT Victim Blaming here; we all had those “experimental” times in our youth. She does not deserve this. Hope I am wrong and a more positive outcome occurs. We miss you, Karlie! Hoping for the best!

That's a bit of a leap. Everyone reacts differently. Someone who hasn't taken said drug before for instance may well have a panic attack if they're not expecting the effects that it brings.

I'm sorry I don't think you really know what you are talking about. The drug market is flooded with cheap dangerous research chemicals being sold as "molly". That is what you hear people dying from molly which is pure MDMA. And if you take a dose of real molly the odds are extremely low you are going to have a panic attack as the effect is euphoric .

I got the impression it was more that three people saw someone with a description that 'could' fit Karlie, which is slightly different from three people saw Karlie. It could have been her, or it could have been someone with a similar description.

But the town K went missing from has such a small population that if it wasn't K, then who was it?

And if K was wandering around, maybe in a weakened state and maybe some kind of flashbacks, confusion, paranoia happening....where did she wander to, and why hasn't she been found?

BBM. One theory that has been floating around is that the witnesses actually saw SM and not Karlie.

SM states that she went out looking for Karlie that morning that she disappeared. At first, she reported Karlie was wearing skinny jeans and a tshirt.

SM went out looking for Karlie and SM was wearing grey sweatpants and a tshirt.

Witnesses report seeing someone matching Karlie's description wearing grey sweatpants and a tshirt.

SM changes description of Karlie to wearing grey sweatpants and a tshirt.

There are versions of this where the sm did go out looking for Karlie very early in the morning when she first noticed that Karlie wasn't in bed, then she came back to the house, and then she went out again, and this time the dad also drove around looking for Karlie.
