Omg... how sad. I was reading her fb page and they were refering to her in the past tense. I was hoping it wasnt true. But, I see now that it is. RIP Katrina beautiful girl!

Ramey appears to be the father of the one-year-old twins . According to Siskiyou County family law case records, it appears a petition involving their custody had just been filed on Aug. 23 of this year, and the parties involved returned from mediation on Sep. 25. He also shared various posts about Katrina’s disappearance on his FB page numerous times ...:

Ugh how sad. She had posted recently that all four of her babies were finally home, but that it wasn’t the same without “daddy”. I was assuming she meant him...ugh she still wanted a family with him and this is what he does?

Poor sweet Katrina-Mom. She grabbed my heart. :heartbeat: I’m sick and heartbroken for her poor little children and her Mom and all who loved her.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t surprise me. Someone mentioned him negatively on FB early on. I guess this is how he decided to get custody of the little twins. Now his parents will probably raise them. How will they ever explain to these babies that their son killed their mother?!

Siskiyou County is on the CA/OR border and once you get away from Interstate 5 it is very remote. It may be familiar to those who followed the case of teacher Tad Cummins who was found at a remote cabin in Siskiyou County with his teen student ET.

In the comments in that same news story above there is a post from someone initials AS about how Katrina came to her house to hide a couple months ago because he had beaten her up [emoji20]

Also if you just search her name a number of public posts come up. One in particular is from her roommate and her account of what happened that night. And lastly she has three Facebook accounts- lots of info from when they were together on one of them. I can’t link cuz I’m on Tapatalk and I always mess it up when I try on the app.

Between mom’s beautifully worded social media posts & dad’s phone interview in this article, you can tell Katrina was so dearly loved. It’s clear her parents are so proud of her & supported her through her rough times, as parents should do.
I’m relieved knowing Katrina’s mom has the 2 oldest children, however, I’m not sure how I feel about Jere’s parents having the 2 youngest.

It’s my opinion (in any situation) that kids should never be separated. Especially in a situation such as this. Not only did those 2 little ones lose their mother to a senseless act, but they’ve lost their father, as well. The one thing that remained was their older siblings. I don’t know the circumstances but I feel it would be better to keep them all together with Katrina’s mother.

Such a heartbreaking story. Sending prayers & lots of strength to all affected by Katrina’s passing. [emoji170]

A Siskiyou County man plead guilty to the murder of Katrina Eblen on Tuesday.

District Attorney, Kirk Andrus, says they were getting ready for the preliminary hearing, but instead, the suspect, Jere Rameyplead guilty to all charges.
Back in October of 2017, Katrina went missing and her body was found a week later. A couple days after that, Ramey was arrested.
