To your point about curfew I’ve been thinking that the timing is strange. As far as we know-she was ok at 1130 when she texted mom, but too drunk to drive before 1230? It’s possible that someone slipped her something between that first call to her mom and the next time ss saw her and described her as too drunk to drive. The fact that no ride was offered is painful to think about-except that I believe someone else did offer to drive her home. And that’s a scary thought.Read through the previous threads yesterday, watched the interview this morning, and these are the things that are bugging me:
Phone charging: It struck me as odd that SS kept making a point to mention that they (and some unnamed others?) went to KR's car to charge their cell phones at 11PM. (LINK, LINK) How is this event relevant to the disappearance, and if it's not, why does she keep bringing it up? Is this to establish why other people's prints or DNA would be in KR's vehicle?
Curfew: The text to KR's mom was sent at 11:30PM, asking her to extend her curfew until 12:30AM (LINK). KR's friend EP says she saw KR around midnight (LINK), which would indicate that the text was likely sent by KR, but to get home by curfew, she should have left at 12:15AM. She thought to ask her mom for a curfew extension, so why wouldn't she didn't call her mom to ask for a ride or to let her know she was going to be late?
More phone inconsistencies: SS claims she said goodbye to KR in person on her way out at 12:25AM (LINK), but then eleven minutes later, at 12:36AM, SS says KR called from the party (LINK) asking "Hey, where are you?" (LINK)? SS refers to this as "the last call anybody had with her" (LINK) - but how would she know that? And why didn't SS have her ride also drive KR home, knowing she was too drunk to drive? Also keep in mind, according to LP, the last time KR's phone was on was 12:33AM (LINK), and then it "went dead" (LINK).
Good post, @wnk. So let’s make a mini timeline of KR’s evening.Read through the previous threads yesterday, watched the interview this morning, and these are the things that are bugging me:

Good timeline-do we know of KR called SS from HER OWN PHONE at 1236? Or did ss just answer a call and talk to her? Easy to figure out. I’m sure LE hasGood post, @wnk. So let’s make a mini timeline of KR’s evening.
6:08 pm Video shows KR in a store in Truckee. LE
9:45 pm KR and a friend arrive at the party near Prosser Campground.
9:55 pm KR’s friend leaves the party with her boyfriend.
11:00 pm KR, SS, and some other unks are in KR’s vehicle charging phones or ?
11:30 pm KR calls her mom, asks for a curfew extension, and says she’ll leave for home at
12:15 am. Mom says okay.
12:00 midnight one of KR’s friends places her still at the party
12:25 KR and SS say goodbye in person and SS leaves the party telling KR she is getting a ride from someone else because she thinks KR is too intoxicated to drive.
12:30 am KR is still at the party. LE.
12:33 am KR’s phone goes silent. LE
12:36 am KR calls SS and asks SS where she is at and asks if she is driving her, SS, home. (SS in contradiction to LE’s report that KR’s phone was unresponsive by this time.)
Questions:
What did KR do between 6:08 and 9:45 when she arrived at the party?
What time did KR bump into SS and the others before going to KR’s car at 11:00 pm?? Did SS know these people? Did KR?
(I can picture a scenario where one of them said, “Hey, I just scored some weed, (coke, whatever), let’s go to KR’S car and get high” as opposed to “Let’s all go to KR’s car and charge our phones.)
How long did they stay in the car? Was this when KR realized she was running late and texted her Mom for the curfew extension?
After the 11:00 pm car get together, where did KR go? Did she wander away from the others who were in the car? Who was she talking with?
Was KR alone when EP saw her at midnight?
At what point did SS decide that KR was too intoxicated to drive and secure another ride home?
SS has to know her timing of the 12:36 call does not coincide with LE’s time of the phone shutting off. Why has this not been clarified?
I’m still really questioning/ wondering about the call 12:36am phone call. Do teenagers actually make an old-fashioned phone call instead of texting? Has this call been stated as factual by LE?
From what SS said, her phone rang and she looked down and saw that it was KR calling so she answered.Good timeline-do we know of KR called SS from HER OWN PHONE at 1236? Or did ss just answer a call and talk to her? Easy to figure out. I’m sure LE has
Per the Lost Trail Lodge's website (where Kiely lives): "There’s no cell service, and electricity comes from solar panels and a generator"I’m still really questioning/ wondering about the call 12:36am phone call. Also bothering me from that interview is Sami's statement that when they left the car (after the phone charging episode) that they split up so Sami could find another ride. She then stops herself and goes completely blank for several seconds searching for a way to finish that sentence. Unfortunately, the interviewer bailed her out and changed the topic completely.Something odd that has bothered me since I saw it. About 15 minutes into the interview SS did with All American Dream Chaser SS mentions going back to KRs car to get more alcohol. She is 16 almost 17 where did the alcohol come from? Why was it in her car?
My guess is she bought it at a store that doesn't ID, if beer. Every teen who drinks knows where those stores are. IF it was hard liquor, she probably either got someone of age to buy it for her, or perhaps swiped it from her parents or perhaps the kitchen at the Lodge. JMOSomething odd that has bothered me since I saw it. About 15 minutes into the interview SS did with All American Dream Chaser SS mentions going back to KRs car to get more alcohol. Well, that’s not that hard to imagine. Somebody bought it and they hauled it in cars to the campsite - just like teenagers and young adults have been doing for decades.Something odd that has bothered me since I saw it.
