Wow! Good catch!

From the link description Re: Made from a blend of unbleached fibers and finished with a natural gum line.

Interesting they would look so "new" after a couple of weeks in the water.
That's actually the outside packaging which appears to be a thicker cardboard material. The actual cone is inside of it and looks like this.

Looks a lot like the charger we have for an older Mac laptop.

Edited to add an image: Is this a vape pen, maybe? I do not vape, but one of my sisters does, and shape looks similar? Also could be a knife? Thoughts?
I thought it kind of looked like a steak knife.

It's entirely possible Kieky counted on her earlier car-mates to clean up after themselves.

I am only speaking for myself, but I almost feel like I am doing something wrong by continuing to try to identify things inside the car, almost akin to prying through someone's purse, or phone, when they aren't aware. It almost feels like a betrayal of Kiely's privacy to me. And not implying that anyone is, but I don't know that I would want someone to judge me by lord knows what they may find in my car in the event of a crash. JMO

When watching and listening to the newly released video this is what caught my attention most of all. This is possibly why the DiveTeam felt there could be foul play. I'll leave the screen capture as a thumbnail with the closed caption text here.

I understand Steve.

I think we all knew there was a party. I'm not personally judging anything we see related to kids partying. Just trying to understand what may have happened. I'm personally interested in what we are able to see because I find it interesting how many small items are in her vehicle after a few weeks in the water, with windows down, one fully down/broken out.

It makes me more hopeful they recovered her phone and her laptop now.

What is that? Or where is it from? It looks dry.

If that were Kiely and her car at Boca at 11:00 Saturday morning with an unknown male, why would she or he drive back to Prosser when, by this time, people were already looking for her?
The only possible hypothesis I can come up with is that KR and this unknown male drove to Boca to drink, smoke, canoodle, etc. after the party. They fell asleep in the car and something caused the battery to die, maybe listening to the radio on accessory mode?
After the tow truck driver gave them a jump:
They drove back to Prosser where the male had left his car?
Kiely then somehow drove into the lake?
They drove back to Prosser, something happened, and they both went into the lake, the male escaped and Kiely didn’t.
Big problem with this theory: The lake was busy Saturday morning with boaters and fisherman and people looking for Kiely. Why wouldn’t someone have seen something?

Yeah...that part is really weird. I'm not sure how to interpret it?

Did he get into the car himself and demonstrate using a seatbelt properly??

or did he reach over the female and attach/connect/belt her in while she was seated?

Both are just incredibly unusual. I cannot think of any reason why a normal (sober?) person would do this?

Weird.

The battery was fine, the car wouldn't start because it was in neutral - the tow truck driver was very clear about those two things.

ETA - I didn't mean to quote Curiosa's post

This is a reenactment, correct?

Re: the woman with the car that asked the tow driver how to buckle a seatbelt. It's possible she was very high/drunk/impaired somehow and not in her right frame of mind.

OR it could be that something nefarious or sketchy was going on between her and the male and she was trying to "signal" to the tow driver that she was uneasy. Even though it likely was not Kiely, it could still be a bad situation for some other person, unfortunately.

Weird.

I took it to mean that the female asked the RA guy how to connect her belt, that is normally worn with jeans, for instance, then connect the seat belt into the receiving fastener after threading it thru her own belt.

I am not convinced it was Kiely speaking with the road assistance guy although I do believe the portion of his story that we've heard thus far. AwP said they'd release his entire interview at some point.

I wish we knew how it all went down.

Could it have been something like this:

Service guy shows up, he could have gotten in, had a look, and said "Oh, here's the problem. You're in neutral." Put the car in park, and it started right up.

The guy probably isn't a master mechanic, or a certified Honda tech, right?

Then had a look under the hood to make sure battery connections seemed ok, and then the questions about seatbelts, told her to keep it running for awhile, etc.

Just a thought.

Respectfully, more than hearing more of the tow truck driver's interview, I would like to see a copy of the call log, which would show time, date, and number of call, and the camera footage that should exist, of his arrival to the call, as he said the truck has forward-facing and rear-facing cams, that can also pick up audio. Then we, nor he, has to rely on his apparently poor memory, surrounding the time and vehicle occupants of that event. JMO

I'm very curious about the front passenger window being broken out.

The AWP diver clearly says it was broken out when he is in the water.

If Kiely was driving, and she had a window tool, wouldn't she smash her own window?

Also, I'm thinking about where Kiely was found. Maybe she was trying to manually open the rear window/tailgate but ran out of time? I don't know why she would do that though, if the front passenger window glass was smashed out though??

I know on the Fit I owned, there is a manual release if you climb inside the hatch area. (Mine used to get stuck as the vehicle aged and would not always open from the outside, so I sometimes had to hop in and pop it open.) I checked in her CRV had similar.

I know people have repeatedly said it makes sense for her body to have floated to the back of the vehicle, but does it really? All the way to the cargo area, in water that depth? When the window right beside her if she was driving was all the way open?

I'm not sure what to think?

As has been linked in previous posts, a 2013 Honda CRV WILL start in either Neutral or Park. So if the driver was very clear about that, then it was very likely not Kiely's vehicle.

Well, he said he did the opposite actually. In the video he said that he checked and the lights and other electrical components were working fine so they started checking other things.
