I see some pics from drone footage taken by the SF PI of the area where those roads diverge. But I'm not sure I can post that link here.
The campground roads all have this distinctive thick brush up to the edges, whereas the "beaches" are bare and sloped.
That's why I was asking if anyone had photos of the water levels the day she went missing. As it looks now, it would have been immediately obvious the change in topography (admittedly while possibly intoxicated and only with headlights showing the difference)
But if that water level was actually much closer to the brush than it is now, there might actually have been very little warning at all that the terrain had changed.
And yes one hopes they would add obvious signage or even gates that people need to get out of their car to open to prevent this from occurring again.
