@Mica - going thru my "oldies" and wondering if anything on Corinne (aka Corrine) Blake - last hearing I have her on was 1/31/20.

TIA! :)

Last entry on San Bernardino Court portal for Corrine Blake was on 08/09/2019 - Defendant Released From Custody.

A previous post here mentions the case might have been transferred to Riverside County. I don’t have access to that portal. It’s a pay site.

Well darn.... thank you for checking though Mica! :)

I have access to Riverside jail, but since she's released - no dice.

I’m unable to find anything on Corrine Blake in the SB County Court Portal. :(

Unfortunately Corinne only got time served 161 days, child abuse classes, and 5 years felony probation. She took a plea deal. The older two were taken due to Kain being severely malnourished. He wasn’t gaining any weight. They took Shaylee and Kain and they were put into the foster care system then adopted by their foster family. I’m unsure why they didn’t take Kylee and Brandon but unfortunately since I didn’t physically see harm done to them I couldn’t do anything. But I did feel off about Adam when I did meet him. He seemed off and he mentioned he had 2 kids who passed away in a car accident. Not sure how true that was. He was a scary person with bad vibes.

Going thru my 2020 list - and bumping this up - if anyone can find current articles - all I'm getting over here are articles from 2019...

TIA if you can help! Looking for Corinne (or Corrine) Blake.

Ooh, you're good! I found the same information. I believe I know the address but msm only says the 10000 block of Kernwood Ct. so I'll leave it for now.

Your estimates are right on. Curious. I guess it's easy to assume the people in these cases are unemployed or there's a working mom and unemployed boyfriend. I know that's not always true and this may be one of those times. I dunno.

I found some information on court hearings. Hughes had a pre-preliminary hearing today and the next one is scheduled for 5/10/19 Dept. R15 at 8:30 am.

Smart Search - Superior Court of California - County of San Bernardino
This should lead directly to his case (FWV19001038) Rancho Cucamonga Criminal, otherwise use the above link:
Superior Court of California - County of San Bernardino

Adam didn’t work Corinne worked as a cashier and they were living with Corinne’s older aunt I believe from what I was told. So Adam stayed with brandon and Kylee while Corinne worked

Corinne has a bail review hearing on 4/23/2019.
Then her pre-preliminary hearing on 5/10/2019.
Preliminary hearing 7/9/2019.

Okay Gitana help me out here. Am I REALLY seeing 4 priors for Corinne for "PC273(A)(A)-F: Willful Cruelty To Child/Poss Injury or death" in 2014 out of San Bernardino?! I mean wow. I know I am seeing it but I don't understand!

Blake, Corinne and for him the case number is FWV19001038:

Superior Court of California - County of San Bernardino

How do 2 KNOWN child abusers get Kylee in their care?

If Corinne had lost the first two after these charges, WHY was she allowed to keep the second two! It's bad enough they let her plea to a misdemeanor, but then hand her new victims?!

Her probation was revoked in September 2015. Yet she wasn't arrested until Kylee died. She actually has a hearing on her revocation on 5/16/2019.
Now she's charged with "willfully causes or permits any child to suffer" and "willful harm/injury that results in death."

This could have been prevented! Poor Kylee. OMG.
From what I know she lost Shaylee and Kain due to Kain being severely malnourished. He was supposedly on the incorrect formula and they didn’t know the dr kept telling her he was fine. Well the sis in law got mad at Corinne and called cps and they took them due to Kains condition. Corinne attempted to do classes and stuff to get them back but thankfully never succeeded. Sadly when Kylee was born and Brandon they didn’t take them too.

Nor do I. And after following so many awful cases of a caretaker lashing out and beating an innocent child to death I no longer believe in the "snapped" or "one time" theory.

For one thing, an adult knows full well that they will do great harm to a child many pounds lighter than themselves and there is always at least one brief moment when they could choose to stop.

For another, rarely is a child killed from a single blow - unless that blow was so intense that death was inevitable. We're not talking a slap or a push. So often they downplay just how hard and how long they battered the child.

Another - an intense hit/blow is pretty obvious and would call for 911 to be contacted to bring help, yet over and over again we see the perpetrators "putting the child to bed," "monitoring them over time" or contacting the parent for what - advice? Why? Because IMO they know they did something really, really bad and have gone into CYA mode with no concern for the child.

All this is just MOO. I wish LE, the courts and the lawmakers would stop nitpicking child abuse laws and call it what it is - assault with a deadly weapon aka someone's fists. Bah. End of rant.
I don’t think this was a one time thing. He claimed he had 2 kids with someone else and the children had passed. He claimed in a car crash but he seems so disconnected it was weird to me. This was the first time I had met him. Corinne bad come to visit me with Adam and the kids I believe Brandon was only a few months old at the time I remember holding him and he was so small at the time. I have pictures from the day they came with Kylee and my girls playing. I messaged my man that day telling him Adam seemed off to me and my man was uncomfortable that he left to work without knowing I felt that way and he was in our home with my kids and I.

Child abusers routinely have additional kids and are allowed to do so. They're kids aren't automatically taken unless they are born with drugs in their system.

I'm not sure why the dad didn't have her. Or why any relation didn't step in and fight for her. Maybe they tried but without evidence of harm to the child the courts would not have reason to remove the child.

By all accounts on her social media Kylee looked well cared for and happy. So unless she showed up with bruising or whatever...
Dad has a history not of child abuse but definitely a history. It would have been hard for him to go up against Corinne her family has money. Plus Corinne and victors older 2 were taken by CPS. Victor wanted Kylee Corinne made it hard and Victor took any time he could get with her. I know them both and definitely feel that Kylee would have been safer with Victor.

I keep wondering if this mother has learning difficulties. Her actions seem limited in understanding. I am not excusing her. I am sharing what struck me. She seems to react in the moment and need others to do what she should. Lives with a parent. Has children already removed as cannot care for them and yet was allowed to keep a further child. This would also make sense of the address. I would be interested to know the IQ of both mum and boyfriend. Was this a case of allowing a couple to have children in their care while supervised? Maybe not but it somehow struck me as a possibility. So tragic and sad whatever the case.
As someone who’s known her for about 14years I’ve always questioned it. But she never seemed the type to harm a child. She didn’t seem capable of it to be Honest. But I do know she’s boy crazy always has been since I met her. She had boyfriend after boyfriend after boyfriend. So it wasn’t a shocker and she tended to rush through relationships too taking their last name within weeks of dating them. It was crazy to me.
