He's preposterous. And indefensible.

And worst if all, not only did he murder his wife and unborn son, he's WASTING the oxygen they should still be here bbreathing.

Does he never shut up?
This is my opinion also. Fade away murderer.

He probably thinks he's special and eligible for a presidential pardon, even though he's just a garden variety murderer.

Yesterday, SP finally filed a Petition in the Superior Court, on the claims that were rejected by the Appellate Court as they had not been heard by the lower court. Nothing in the media yet.

The state filed an opposition yesterday, but just to oppose filing unredacted exhibits.

Peterson filed another request to test for DNA. 🥱

10/08/2025 Notice of Motion; Renewed Motion for DNA Testing Based on Newly Discovered Evidence (Pen. Code 1405); Memorandum of Points & Authorities; Declarations; Exhibits; Proposed Order

Nothing wrong with Peterson requesting DNA testing especially if his Motion is granted and it sheds light on the case. I think the goal whether it was Peterson or not is to get to the ultimate truth of this case.

The truth is that this is vile, sorry excuse for a man murdered his wife and baby.

Once the DNA comes back as his then that shut down any argument he has going forward. So IMO test away

Well until we actually know what the DNA shows, we can't make any arguments but at this point, I just want the truth to come out. If it is him, fine.

I don't know. In my personal opinion, I don't know. I don't feel like there is enough evidence pointing to him. I think he is scum for cheating on his wife and the things he said to Amber about Laci, etc, but I don't know if I get killer from him. I am very torn at this point

What is being tested for DNA?

Is this about duct tape on Laci's body?

What's the plan - if there's no DNA matching Scott, then he must be innocent?

Don't you feel there's just too much evidence pointing toward him though? And not just the fact that he was cheating on her and telling his girlfriend he was a widower.

The fact that her body/and baby's-- turned up where he was fishing is pretty telling!!! I don't believe some stranger/killer just knew Scott was fishing there and threw her body in the water- framing Scott- that really defies rational thought!!!

He was also cleaning the house and looking to sell it if I remember right. He was also talking to the girlfriend like nothing had happened.

Every piece of evidence seemed to point to Scott and no one else.
Remember the home made anchors and three were missing and the fourth didn't have a chain ?

This was referenced in the excellent link below.

The investigation and prosecution had nothing to do with DNA. He was convicted based on circumstantial evidence.

Direct evidence, such as DNA or eye-witness testimony, was unnecessary.

Testing duct tape, the boat, the house and so forth for DNA is pointless. If his DNA is present, he will declare that it should be present because it's his boat, his house, and someone may have used his duct tape. If his DNA is not present, that doesn't mean he did not commit the murder.

I understand why the majority of people think he is guilty. Trust me, I get the reasoning. But in terms of actual evidence, direct evidence, evidence that 110%, without a doubt points to Scott being guilty, no, it just doesn't exist or at least in my opinion, what we do know and what has been made public, doesn't convince me of his guilt. And yes, I know there is "more" than just the cheating and the way he acted with Amber and what he said. But to me, the finger-pointing towards Scott only ramped up when his affair with Amber came to light and I struggled with that because it felt like a slow burn and then BAM, affair, he definitely did it. It's just my opinion though and I get it is not a popular one lol

Yes @Leprikawn ….. and IIRC there was also that little tale SP told AF then, something about this being a first Christmas (was it) without his spouse or wife?

And that call to AF from ‘Paris’ IIUC? SMH

Seems to me IMO that based on the case then, evidence presented, the defense’s case, and the jury deliberations…… the right individual is now in prison for the crime. Actually crimes, since there was LP and also the near term IIRC unborn child. MOO
