http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/1dfnd.html Barbara Cotton MissingSince April 11, 1981, 15 years, from Williston, Williams County, North Dakota. Curvature of spine which may cause a slight limp when she walks? Just a suggestion.

I don't understand anything about the missing persons site of State of California Department of Justice site...why Barbara is listed there?

Same ones (assuming you were referring to the UID)... I’m curious why they’re not in NamUs? I’ve never come across a case that has only ruleouts like this one. I see the occasional ones but I do wonder about the reasoning behind that. Are we to assume these people are missing?
I’m not sure about the California link either...

The CA missing persons site has so many people listed and most are not on Namus. The OAG Site is a b*tch to search as well.
The first name on your list is Anna Anderson, here is her CA listing Anna Marie Anderson

Yes, the Cali state site is an upright pita. The search engine is terrible. You can't see a missing date until you click on a name, only a dob is listed....who is going to search on that? I'm getting used to it....but every time you find somebody falling in the dob-range you have to click on the file to see more information.

 How in the world?! It truly is a shame that all this information can’t be found in one place. Well, I guess it probably can be, I just didn’t look hard enough. I should have known they’d be on The Charley Project! :D

Anywho, thank you both for the links!! These are new cases to me, so looks like I’ll be busy for a few days
:p

This UID case hasn't been updated in Namus since 2014 :(

Looking at Clara Grunst (Namus #MP240) who matches the height, age and estimated PMI. She was 21yo when she went missing, had scoliosis and was known to hitchhike, having previously "visited truck stops in California and Canada". She was hitchhiking from MO to WI when she went missing in 1984 and was last heard from when she was enroute in Kansas.
(Noting that a truck driver who picked her up was later identified and interviewed, he gave inconsistent information but was never charged.)

She sounds familiar? Is she already a rule out on this one? If not then I think you should definitely submit.

She does look like a good possibility @Melt71 ! I’d submit.

Rest in peace Linda. I hope this brings her family some measure of closure.

Linda Louise LeBeau
Linda's missing person profile notes that her dental records were available. I wonder how this match wasn't made sooner.

RIP Linda. Condolences to her loved ones.

I believe she was murdered in 1977, shortly after she disappeared. The remains were completely skeletal and scattered and incomplete. She may have spent 8 or 9 years undiscovered.
