Timeline:

12:13 PM: Crystal calls 911
12:55 PM: Leila arrives at the hospital via ambulance (15-mile/25-minute drive from the house...although ambulance would get there much quicker)

Does anyone know whether the game was at the home field? Because it's only 10 minutes from the Fowler home. If it was...and I'm sure they were speeding...can we say they were home by 12:20?

The ambulance...Considering it would be going fast, low-traffic area, sirens blaring....I think it could make the drive in 15 minutes. So leaving the house at 12:40?

So those twenty minutes...What was going on? Was the ambulance coming all the way from the hospital?

What time did LE arrive at the house? They were dispatched to a break-in, not a murder. I noticed that the Sheriff's substation is a 10-minute drive from the family home. Would LE be coming from there? They get to the house around 12:23?

We have the neighbor who claims she saw Barney with blood on him walking down the street. I don't think LE would let him near his daughter, so did the family arrive home before LE?

What would be the truth?

In my hypothetical scenario, the truth would be that the 12 year old hid in the bathroom while his sister was being murdered. I don't believe that's what happened here, but it looks like that's what the defense lawyer is going to claim.

I am seriously WTF with this family. No offense but CW and BF aren't even married so .....she is NOT the stepmother or mother or whatev's. She is dad's GF.

And her hateful FB comments about birthmom PR are just distasteful.

I honestly don't know the dynamic here, but I know the milk ain't clean and also, a little girl is dead.

Were IF and LF the only two kids that were bio kids of Barney and Priscilla? Is that why they were not included on the family outing?

Something isn't right, here, aside from that boy butchering his sister.

AGREED!

I am thinking this story isn't as it seems!

When Crystal call 911, since she didn't say anyone was hurt, ambulance wouldn't have been dispatched. So first police would have to show up and request the ambulance after they found that little girl was hurt.

What did he hide from? Since defense laywer seems to be implying he didn't see anyone. And then made up the description, which included clothing and long hair? For what purpose would he do that if he didn't see anything?

Thanks. I;m always worried that I:m being too blunt and that people will get mad at me. But I;m always typing on my phone, at court or in the office between calls. I don;t always have time to be nice!!!!! But I love everyone and I hope I don;t sound rude.

Gitana, I have posted with you for a couple of years now ( or maybe just shy of) and I have NEVER found you blunt.

You always offer a level, fair perspective and of course a verified legal POV.

And IMO, you are just "good people" as we say in the South. :seeya:

I look forward to your posts and the invaluable wisdom contained within. And I think the same goes for most of us!

The defense lawyer seems to be saying that he lied about scaring the intruder off, not that he lied about an intruder being in the house or seeing him.

lol. my gosh am I tired. CountryGirl, nevermind, it was my own link you were quoting from.

Sorry about that.

So from what I have gleaned so far from the attorney he is saying things like "might" "may" etc. Still keeping the intruder story open but allowing for the possibility that 12 year did not see the intruder.

This makes my question about the clothes even more pressing.

ETA makes me wonder too how much the attorney knows at this point, lots of bet hedging from him at this point.

Exactly. And, didn't his description match another guy that LE arrested?

He boxed himself in with his story.

Why not tell his parents he was in the shower, got out and found Leila bleeding and please come home and call an ambulance asap??

Why spin it into a stranger then have your attorney say he may have lied about seeing a stranger leaving the house?

Not buying it.

That tells me... He killed her, ditched the knife, hopped in the shower, then called his parents.... Didn't even tell them she was injured...created a "SODDI" tale....and stuck to it, right up till his arrest.

I really want to hear the version he gave the dispatcher when she called him!

I wonder where Barney is up until the neighbor sees him?..

my guess is yes...and as always, the timeline tells the story. and that's the one thing LE hasn't made nary a comment nor statement upon.

exactly what time was the 911 call made and who was in the house between that and the arrival of LE. who was there? who made it to the house before the sirens?

IMO that's our smoking gun. JMO but it was a family member. initials BF. the only one who tainted the scene (i.e. carrying the deceased child) and the one now "wanting evidence". why ask unless you're nervous that they actually have some...kwim?

Come on now, if your son was arrested for murder I think you would want to see some evidence. Wouldn't any parent?

Could they have been looking for the brother's pocket knife in the pond?
