County, and it seems like they must have been overwhelmed, because this is the second one in a row that says, "Recognizable face" yet has no photo or reconstruction shown in NamUs. Maybe the photos are being hidden from the public, but why no attempt at a drawing?

I also found Sherry K Wrisinger, 40, 5'3" and 180 lbs. She and her daughter both disappeared in Missouri in June 1986.

They are chronically overwhelmed, but also, California has very strict laws about when and how post-mortem photos and drawings can be used.

Thanks. That is interesting to know, especially regarding a drawing. (I actually think PM photos should not be posted publicly, but reconstructions/drawings should be made instead.)

Yeah, I think drawings are allowable, but with too many cases and not enough money, they don't have enough resources to get a good drawing or reconstruction of everybody.

Interesting that both exclusions have a similar general look. This may be a slight clue of her appearance at the time she was found.
