It appears that the victim died fairly recently. The jogger who discovered the remains was alerted to them by the smell of decomposition.

LITTLEROCK – The human remains of a man found in a ravine in Littlerock on Sept. 20, has been identified as Hykeen Jamal Brown, who was reported missing since June 2.

I am the sister of this man...Hykeen Jamal Brown was my baby brother. I miss him dearly and I feel like his case will be another cold case if no one close to him does anything. I searched the internet and could barley find a picture of him. I am calling investigators and I receive no call back. Is this really where it ends?
