*Hearing (Estate) (@ 8:45am PT) - CA – Lydia “Dia” W. Kenshalo Abrams (65) (last seen @ 2:30pm June 6, 2020 from her 117-acre Bonita Vista Ranch, in a remote area east of Mountain Center, Idyllwild; vehicle, handbag, keys & cell phone still at home. Not found. DOB 7/6/54). [After estate is liquidated by 6/6/25 Lydia will be declared deceased]. Has been legally declared dead on 6/6/25. Riverside County

5/27/22: Crisara Abrams is the sole trustee of the Clem Abrams Trust. Keith Harper has been removed (11/15/23) as co-Trustee.
Trial was set to begin on 9/22/25 was continued on 12/22/25 was continued on 5/4/26.

6/6/25 Update: As 5 years have passed since Abrams disappearance, she has been legally declared dead. {see posts #710 & 712, page 36, thread #2]. Next motions hearing on 7/7/25 @ 8:45am to be relieved as counsel for Attorney Aaron F. Garcia.
7/7/25 Update: The trustee's request that the case be moved from Palm Springs to Murietta was rejected This should have kept the case with Judge Russell Velasquez, but a retired Judge substituted for Velasquez for the 7/7/25 hearing, noting that he had to read up on many cases & was not acquainted with the details of this one. The Judge granted a Certificate of death, but said it would be "without evidentiary effect." If the trustee wished for a certificate with evidentiary value, he instructed them to file again under Probate Code Section 12400. The Judge also admitted that the attorneys present had "educated" him about the IRS's interest in a death certificate. Next hearing on 9/22/25.
8/6/25 Docket update: Joint Stipulation & Order to continue Trial Date & all Related Deadlines filed by Harper's attorney Michael R. Stidham [new attorney]. Changing trial date of 9/22/25 to 12/21/25 or to a date thereafter. Order from Judge Russell M. Velasquez. Order: Hearing on 9/22/25 moved to 12/22/25 @ 8:45am. 12/3/25 Docket update: Stipulation to continued Dec. 22, 2025 trial & hearing filed by Michael L. Wachtell & Gordon C. Stuart of Buchhalter [attorneys for Co-Trustee, Invenz, Inc.]. The 12/22/25 hearing is he initial hearing on Mr. Harper' s subsequently filed Petition for Court Supervision of Trust Administration & Order for: (1) To Limited Trustee Excessive Compensation, (2) to Protect Trust Corpus & Ensure Fair Accounting, (3) to Preserve Indemnification and Offset Rights, (4) for Surcharge & (5) for Attorney's Fees & Costs ("Mr. Harper' s Surcharge Petition"). Hereby Stipulated: The December 22, 2025 hearing on the Accounting Trial & all motions & discovery cut-off deadlines should be continued to May 4, 2026 or as otherwise convenient for the Court. Mr. Harper' s Surcharge Petition will remain in place for December 22, 2025, for its initial 8 hearing but not for trial & the parties shall meet & confer on potential bifurcation or consolidation of this Petition with the Accounting trial.

I come here often looking for news but it seems that no justice will ever be delivered. Sad and beyond sad. To think that a crime of this type could not be solved with today's technology is hard to believe. I can only hope that some day Dia is back in the news and all who harmed her pay for their crimes!

It's because a secret service agent is blatantly guilty and no one has had the guts to work that angle. KH involved. DF involved. Fedder was a recruiter for the secret service. Think how poorly it makes the entire agency look. I am not saying this from my perspective but if a secret service agent was ever found to be in league with a sex offender on a multi-million conspiracy to commit murder etc....it would recontextualize seminal events for some of the population. JFK? EPSTEIN?

She was the one who set the standard of who was let into the service and all they do all day is think about the many infinite ways somebody could be killed. Meaning they know the precise way to kill someone and navigate the law enforcement system with slick.

Does it undermine the dollar as the reserve currency? Make foreign leaders distrusting? What cases that she worked on and testified under oath on could easily be left off on appeal.

The case hasn't been solved because no one who can do anything wants it solved.
